There was some talk about renaming the coin.
X11Coin is obviously terrible. It uses the X11 moniker which is gimmicky to attract crypto nerds and fans of the X11 algorithm that Darkcoin pioneered but it's bizarre. It's like if Bitcoin was called Sha256Coin or something.
I think it should just be called X Coin or XC. This sounds "techy" and captures the feel of the anonymous features of this coin and the professional developer behind it. It is also monosyllabic like Bitcoin and easy to say. Also Darkcoin was going to be called Xcoin and I think it should have kept that name. Perhaps this coin could usurp the name as in my opinion it has the opportunity to be superior due to PoS ,reduced premine, etc.
Yeah have to agree on X11Coin as a, well, not-so-great name. It's pretty bad for any sort of marketing and there's also confusion because another project is using Xcoin (although it appears dead maybe?) - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=580444.0. Not to mention DRK started off as Xcoin Anyways it's not like this is super important for right now but in the future it could be good to look into imo. Ah I didn't see that. What about XChange? Sort of like "Exchange", it captures the utility of the service in the name and still uses the ticker and it is also short. It also uses the word "change" instead of coin which is similar and has an original feel to it. |

XC going CRAZY on Mintpal.
...you will see tommorow when multipools are done with huge dumps ....  ....at least 300K sat. 300k is only the beginning it can go over litecoin imo, over 10 million satoshi (0.1 btc), because there are only 6 million coins |

XCoin is a nice name, now you only must update the website and send coinmarketcap a request with the new name and that mintpal is also added, because coinmarketcap show only poloniex and bittrex, and so the 24h volume is really low

Private/Privacycoin are good but I haven't checked if others have launched. XLB (Libertycoin) has a tremendous marketing edge with that name (and logo - I think IconicExpert made it and it's very nice) and I'd propose something synthetic which captures the values of liberty + privacy + security. Since I like numismatics, if there ever was a physical coin created for collectors and stuff, perhaps it has these themes illustrated also on it. |

I have over 80btc to spare. I want to know 5 facts about this coin without reading the 100 + pages.
I was an early investor for DRK and i see the same future here. Why should i invest?

we go pos tommorow so roughly 7 million coins 33 all up after many years dev with over 25 years experience in coding and tech field in general, also former ceo of major company anon features sort of like drk but not fully disclosed yet, others may be able to explain more, but dev has spoken of idea of rings without the blockchain bloat first anon pos coin anon android wallet with working pos coming dev has deliverd on time every time there are lots of things but im drunk anybody else??
