After the announcement of the Dogecoin and Litecoin merged mining a few days ago we’ve seen some interesting development. The DOGE network hashrate and thus the difficulty has literally skyrocketed as most of the hashrate from the LTC network has been added to the DOGE as people moved to pools with merged mining support. Most of the people mining DOGE directly have also moved to merged mining as with the serious increase of Dogecoin difficulty it became pointless to directly mine for it instead of mining in a pool with support for AuxPow. In fact the AuxPow support for DOGE means that you can merge mine it not only with Litecoin, but with other Scrypt crypto currencies as well, but the main focus of course is merged mining with LTC as there the network hashrate is the highest.

Only questions is, does Genesis mine on a pool which supports LTC / DOGE merged mining and do you need to put in both, your LTC and DOGE address?

I sent them a support ticket asking this.  They replied saying no merged mining yet cause they are working on another project that requires all their resources.

I haven't gotten any payouts for yesterday either. Something seems wrong. Sent a support ticket on it, but its ~9AM GMT now, we should have seen the 9/26 payout - at least on my account, it seems that payouts have come to a halt.

Everything was going great, so I'm not sure what's going on now...
So some other folks here are missing the 9/26 payout too?

yep no payout here either, sold my gaw account because they underpaid me for a week and then didnt pay me for 4 days after that, so im all in here now. genesis is way better, eventually gaw's shenanigans will get more people heading over here. Now i just hope payouts dont get messed up here too lol!

I'm in agreement with you right now on GAW.  Their "interactive activities" and "games-in-a-miner" approach is causing my eyes to roll out of my head.  Press 12 buttons twice a day and you may get > 1Mh/s for $50!  Please. Give me a break.

At least i'm not the only one without a payout from Genesis, but I sure hope they make it right, fast. I'm beginning to wonder if there's *any* mining company we can trust...

Please be patient and dont panic. We all will soon be paid. They should be on its way. Genesis Mining has never missed a payout for me in the last three months. They are absolutely spot on when it comes to daily payout.

I am not sure what "reset" at Gaw means, but here is how it works in our system:

A day runs from 00:00 UTC time zone to 23:59:59 UTC. For example, if you switch from BTC to Viacoin at 06:00 UTC your mining payout will include 25% BTC and 75% Viacoin. Not a single millisecond of your precious hashpower will be wasted!

Regarding payout timing: after the day (as defined above) is over; some scripts will prepare the payout and double-checking takes place. Furthermore, the system generates the daily report that includes all relevant numbers. Normally at least two people from our team do some sanity checks and finally approve the payout.

The payout will happen within 24 hours after the day is over. So no worries

Don't forget that the payout for 26 09 is the one you get today. That is listed on your UI as your Mining day. So tomorrow will be Mining day 27 09 as that will be the payments for all the mining that your hashpower is doing right now.

As payments are in UTC like Marco describes then right now it is around 11:00am UTC, so 13 hours left before technically you are missing a days payment.

If you are always unsure about what the time is right now in UTC, just go to Google and type in the box time now utc

I understand that many of you live in many different timezones, so sometimes it might be almost a new day for you, only an hour or so left in this day if you lived in New Zealand for example, but in UTC time, the day might have many hours left.

I think you are selling huge contracts at the moment can you handle all of this.

You mine yourself you just put some of your own mining power and give it to the customer or do you have some miners standing there who are not mining and then put them to mining?

And what do you think of the new cooling system with immersive oil or something like that. On the photos i have seen its just normal cooling?

@ Gawminers we lose hash if merge or split is done... but amount per Mh/s is higher with their hashlet.
I did understand payout date issue, I hope to be in the same boatd than yours for month!
