As you can imagine, we know (almost) everyone in the community that produces hardware (or is about to do it). Using the best available hardware is key for our business success if you really mine with real hardware. To give you an impression: our team in Iceland is testing (right now) hardware from three(!) different manufacturers (sha and scrypt).

I think, what would be nice is to have a page, where you can go and look at average daily payouts for all the coins that are on GM for the last 24 hours, so if people can see, for example that Potcoin is giving you a better return at a particular time, then miners can mine Pot etc.

But I know you are busy working on other things too, but maybe something to consider in the future.

Hey guys,

As you all know the last days were very exciting and engaging for the whole team. We were around at a lot of conferences (Inside Bitcoins Las Vegas, Coinagenda, Hashers United just to name a few) and also on the development end our upcoming projects push our coders to work hard like never before.

We always try to give you all new infos directly here, but please excuse if it got a bit more sporadic over the last couple of days.
Going forward there are a lot of exciting features coming up and I want to start here with a pre announcement of a new project that will be officially announced bigger probably next week.

I am talking about the Miner of the Week Project:

After the official release of the "Miner of the Week" we are going to announce the most profitable miners of each week and will reward the #1 with a nice Hashpower boost. (Of course we will anonymize everybody and ask first whether we might publish the name)
To be more precise we will value the mined portfolio of coins of each user at the end of the week using the current exchange rates at that time. Of course we will devide the value of the portfolio by the amount of hashpower for each user so that it will be fair and everybody has the same chances no matter how much hashpower someone has.
Since we know that there are a lot of very sophisticated miners adjusting their portfolio in the user interface every day to maximize profits we are very excited to see how much the best miners are getting out of their hashpower.
Also it will be nice to see how our best users are performing compared to our auto trader (100% BTC(Auto)). Will the auto trader always win? Are there professional users who will outperform it constantly? Remember that the auto trader is only optimizing the portfolio for a given time and does not mine coins that he expects to blow off days later. This is the big chance to perform better and have a better portfolio at the end of the week!

It will be a great opportunity for everybody to show his skills in estimating the crypto markets and mine the most profitable coins!

I think that if the GAW SHA 256 Hashlet was 10GH/s as well, it would be getting beat also.

Not much in it now and one has a 5GHs advantage.
