It is all good the only Question I have @Genesis Mining.

How many Mining Power you still have left to sell???

I think you are selling huge contracts at the moment can you handle all of this.

You mine yourself you just put some of your own mining power and give it to the customer or do you have some miners standing there who are not mining and then put them to mining?

And what do you think of the new cooling system with immersive oil or something like that. On the photos i have seen its just normal cooling?

Day 12 Comparison Video is up now
http://youtu.be/r0nrdoKavcY

I will also be doing a series of videos soon where I will be comparing Blackcoin coin payouts from Genesis Mining, to what I would be getting with the Auto BTC option each day.

It is always good to watch/see your videos.  Wink

Did you get payout for yesterday ?

If we switch coin, does-it "reset" as Gawminers ? Tongue

I am not sure what "reset" at Gaw means, but here is how it works in our system:

A day runs from 00:00 UTC time zone to 23:59:59 UTC. For example, if you switch from BTC to Viacoin at 06:00 UTC your mining payout will include 25% BTC and 75% Viacoin. Not a single millisecond of your precious hashpower will be wasted!

Regarding payout timing: after the day (as defined above) is over; some scripts will prepare the payout and double-checking takes place. Furthermore, the system generates the daily report that includes all relevant numbers. Normally at least two people from our team do some sanity checks and finally approve the payout.

The payout will happen within 24 hours after the day is over. So no worries Smiley
Relevant FAQ is here: https://www.genesis-mining.com/faq?section=14

There is a huge number of new users joining us every hour, which makes us super happy. Our system is designed from the ground-up to deal with it, however, more users also mean more support tickets, problems in the payment process, special care taking etc. which puts some strain on our developer and support stuff. We are working literally day and night and scale things upwards. My apologies if we are not always super responsive here in the forum.

Thank you for your trust in Genesis Mining! We consider it a huge privilege to be part of this fantastic community!

Cheers,
  Marco

Thanks for your answer! Smiley

@ Gawminers we lose hash if merge or split is done... but amount per Mh/s is higher with their hashlet.
I did understand payout date issue, I hope to be in the same boatd than yours for month!

We have contracts with hardware manufacturers and negotiate with them all the time to buy more. It is a matter of amount pricing, reliability, power consumption etc. In some cases we rented hashpower from a reliable third party to bridge the time until we had new machines in place. The buffer we have is used to mine on our own, however, this one is very small at the moment until more machines are up again.

The reality is a bit more complex, but in general no economic rational thinking company has spare miners that are not in use. If the expected mining output for one month is greater than electricity costs than we will mine.

Immersive / high-density cooling makes sense in data warehouses only under certain circumstances. Without wanting to go into the details, it does not make sense for us at the current state. We looked into water supported cooling for our GPU farm in Europe (several 1000 GPU), but as this one is mainly running X11, X13, etc. heat is less of a problem.

Cheers,
  Marco

I wonder if the satoshi spam can eventually screw up purchases as well? If someone pays their order with the right amount, and a spammer abuses the information from the blockchain by adding another satoshi to the same payment address then hopefully orders won't be declined because of that tiny difference.

Yes like I explain in the videos.

I have accounts with both, not just for the comparison videos.

But he has mistake. Zen gives 0.00061, and he wrote 0.0061. 10 time mistake Smiley

P.S. Also he forgets to deduct service charges  Wink

I don't think it is GM, I think it something that everyone seems to be getting at the moment.
