Same here, two days after joining Genesis I did recive that 0.00000001 BTC... So guessing someone that also have some mining power on genesis are stalking the blockchain payments from the site.

It is all good the only Question I have @Genesis Mining.

How many Mining Power you still have left to sell???

I think you are selling huge contracts at the moment can you handle all of this.

You mine yourself you just put some of your own mining power and give it to the customer or do you have some miners standing there who are not mining and then put them to mining?

And what do you think of the new cooling system with immersive oil or something like that. On the photos i have seen its just normal cooling?

mfg dead

We have contracts with hardware manufacturers and negotiate with them all the time to buy more. It is a matter of amount pricing, reliability, power consumption etc. In some cases we rented hashpower from a reliable third party to bridge the time until we had new machines in place. The buffer we have is used to mine on our own, however, this one is very small at the moment until more machines are up again.

The reality is a bit more complex, but in general no economic rational thinking company has spare miners that are not in use. If the expected mining output for one month is greater than electricity costs than we will mine.

Immersive / high-density cooling makes sense in data warehouses only under certain circumstances. Without wanting to go into the details, it does not make sense for us at the current state. We looked into water supported cooling for our GPU farm in Europe (several 1000 GPU), but as this one is mainly running X11, X13, etc. heat is less of a problem.

Cheers,
  Marco

I wonder if the satoshi spam can eventually screw up purchases as well? If someone pays their order with the right amount, and a spammer abuses the information from the blockchain by adding another satoshi to the same payment address then hopefully orders won't be declined because of that tiny difference.

Yes like I explain in the videos.

I have accounts with both, not just for the comparison videos.

Yeh well that happens too, I have done that many times, all those decimal places are a pain.
