Which version of the client are you using? You need 1.6.5.5 (Help > Check for update or download from vericoin.info)

If you already on 1.6.5.5 click File > Reload Blockchain

If your balance is incorrect, use File > Rescan wallet after reloading the blockchain.

I am still unable to scan my wallet for some reason and am missing half of my coins when I load the wallet.

I am up to date with v 1.6.5.5

I get an error that says

EXCEPTION: st13runtime_error
init_blockindex(): error opening database environment IO error: C:\users\XXX\appdata\roaming\vericoin\txleveldb\MANIFEST-091353: the handle is invalid

C:\program files\vericoin\vericoin-qt.exe in runaway exception

Any thoughts on how to fix?

I had staking 386 verifying and to make rescan because I was not update the days sincry, I have lowered to 250 I Lost 186 vericoins

No coins are lost.

Close the wallet before doing this.

Navigate to the following folder:

Windows: %AppData%/VeriCoin
Mac: /Library/Application Support/VeriCoin
Linux: ~/.vericoin

Or use Windows key + R type %AppData% and hit enter and find the VeriCoin folder


Remove everything from the %AppData% folder, except the wallet.dat (MAKE A BACKUP OF THIS FILE!!!)

Download and place the file vericoin.conf in the same directory (http://www.vericoin.info/downloads/vericoin.conf).

Start the VeriCoin client again, reload the blockchain and after that rescan the wallet using the file menu.

All your coins should be back now.

Can you send an email to vericoin@vericoin.info with details including: 1. The address you sent VRC to, 2. The Bitcoin address destination, and 3. A VRC refund address if the transaction got stuck? David will check it out.
