What huge news has Litecoin brought to the table since the price spiked? You'll hear the news when you hear it. That's just how it goes. If you think the coin is done, that's fine. Go cash out for FIAT or Bitcoin. Just don't look back or you will be disappointed you sold out.

Patrick, don't waste your time with trolls. Some of us actually recognise the immense ability being brought to this project, others just want to continually talk about pumps and dumps and play like they're Billy Big-Bollocks of Wall Street.

You don't need to prove anything and you don't need to spend your valuable time defending your, or this coin's, reputation. People who know, know, those who refuse to even try, can be ignored.

The pump and dump groups are trying their hardest to dump this coin to 12k and failing. The amount of buying keeping it at 15k shows this coin is about to shoot up.

But it is not going to happen overnight, VRC is still recovering from the last pump and people are afraid. The same reason that kept XC at 100k for so long.

I wouldn't even call this a pump and dump by crypto standards. So far this coin's price fluctuation has been remarkably sane in my opinion. XC dropped almost 5 fold while we only fell roughly 60% from our peak. But I agree the price isn't going much lower, though I do see it rising a little soon. Even with alpha SMS this coin is worth much more than it is now.

Lol its funny how after the first pump all the trolls disappeared and now that we are priming for another rise in price they are starting to show back up.

XC must dump before we are going to go up again. Its the same bitcoin being bought and sold remember  XC has already risen 50% today which is extremely big news for the high value coins and certainly not sustainable. When it dumps, and it will, then VRC will quickly rise to around 17,000 with large buy walls placed every 500 Satoshi down the order book back to the 14,000s. From there people, against all the advice I and others have given them, will dump - they will dump every coin they hold and cross their fingers for a drop in price. Unfortunately this wont happen. The dump will trigger an even larger wave of buys, sweeping aside all resistance in its path up to 20,000. Once 20,000 is hit it will climb very quickly in 2,000 Satoshi intervals at a time with little sell offs at each step. During this time we will see people talking about how DRK and XC and CINNI are all going down and VRC is "going back up again". This will cause the panic buyers - the same ones stupidly buying XC right now - to buy up VRC until it can't sustain the rise any further and further sell off occurs. This time however a new floor will be established around 20,000 and whenever the price approaches it the buys will start again.

VRC is cheap right now, XC is 50% dearer than it was yesterday and DRK is around 30% more expensive than yesterday. It is just a matter of time before those who have made a profit decide to buy up the cheapest coin with a strong volume - VRC.

Guess I will be putting up some walls to catch more VRC then. How low do you think DRK/XC will go? I sort of have a thing for coins with devs that don't hide their identities. They seem to actually deliver on promises, rather than vanish into the night. I think communities are also stronger when there is someone they can believe in, like with VRC.

It's the current interest rate compounded. So if you leave your wallet open, and you get current rates of 2.02%, you will have at least 404 VeriCoin by next year if the rates stay the same. The rate is determined by the number of people holding their coin in the wallet and staking.
