I had just at another Coin-IPO issues with my hash. The hash did not match with my account number. I don't know how that happened, but I was not the only one. Published her before he distribution the list of accounts so that we can check again or I can directly send a Pm with the accountnumber.

Recently, MaWo got a list of "known passwords" and hashed all of them. That list is used by hackers to brute-force accounts and steal from the victim. Unfortunately, he found that your hash matches a hash on that known-password list.

So I'm writing you to ask you to select a new passphrase, hash it and send the hash back to me so I can change your current hash. I'm doing this because we don't want you to be robbed again. Once is enough.

About 3% of all Nxt holders have had their passphrases cracked and their Nxt stolen. MaWo, myself and the rest of the NFD team don't want this to happen to you! So please select a new passphrase, as secure as you're comfortable with, and send the new hash back. I'll make sure that it's the hash we use for the distribution.

1500+ holders, the most fairly distributed coin

nem == 3000 stake holders and used taint analysis to root out sock puppet(obviously missed a few so probably a bit less than 3000 but not much)

also isnt it something like only 240 odd people own the majority(as they paid for their stake) while the others only hold a much smaller amount each(as they only got in free so they only get a small amount)? its not evenly split between 1500. im not having a dig at you or the coin.. its probably just best you dont try to over sell the distribution as it will only attract trolls and its the equivalent of false advertisement which isnt a good thing. dont get me wrong the devs have done great work turning this around and i plan on investing myself. just be honest and transparent about everything.. even things that come across as negative because honesty and integrity of the dev team regarding such issues helps make up for any downfalls. (no one will see 1500 stake holders as a downfall, just saying)

Well....you have made good points, but what richwang wrote above can be chalked up to good ol' enthusiasm. I'm hyping myself, somewhat.

And as long as I don't make any big mistakes, the trolls will just hit and run for lack of trollfood. That's why I'm close to neurotic about the spreadsheet work.

Can the process be speeded up by adding more human resources to the project?

all us 1500+ stakeholders can watch the progress of the coin launch?

The devs are trying hard  to resurrect an already dead coin and please dont put them in extra pressure.

I know they are working hard, so lets give them enough time and if you are too worried,
put your energy into finding the original scammer.

Your new hash is also weak. Your secret "wsxcderfv" is in the list of known secrets.
Never use keyboard character patterns as password!

The savest password is a random password. Please use keepass v1 or v2 to generate a password with at least 35 random characters and numbers.
Keepass can also save your password securely! It's available for windows, mac, linux, bsd ... and it's open source.

Today News:

Show stopper is still the distribution list.
NXtblg is working very hard on it. But it's really a mess.

As suggested by mirador17 I generated all accountIds from hashes.
Please check whether your secret fits with your account.

I checked also all hashes for known weak passwords, duplicates and whether hash values are correct. I wrote a comment if something is odd.

Now, I tell you a secret: NFD livenet is running since June 5, 2014 6:21:19.083 UTC

Because of missing distribution, only the 5 genesis accounts (1 account for every category) have NFD and are forging empty blocks.

At this time we are starting to setup additional vps nodes to get hallmarked nodes around the world.
