I've noticed forms forget field values/content when refreshed
(confirm/create, form has invalid input, shows error message but upon redrawing the form, all entry fields are empty)
not bug, just annoying a bit

It IS annoying, although I've not found the proper way to pay this form information around

maybe a warning or note in the howto would make user aware that they should prepare their data (text for IPO p.ex.) in an external editor and keep this copy elsewhere and just copy paste. this seems like a few steps extra but for example contract and other stuff should be prepared in an external tool anyway. just to say that in advance. loosing test data is not an issue while an hour work on wiring the contract directly in the form and then loose it that could be disappointing.

FYI, I created a new thread for discussion about the crowdfunding act that passed and a crowdfunding regulatory framework called CAPS:

[Update: Also, when it was mentioned that GLBSE Charts is down and won't be coming back.  Is that meant that it is true for v1 or is this the case for 2.0 as well?]

Interesting link.

Eh yes no more charts.glbse.com, 2.0 has some very basic chats built into it, which will be getting steadily improved over time (charts is much too expensive).

I'm almost done getting the production server ready, currently waiting for the block chain to finish downloading, complete some basic deposit/withdrawal tests and then launch.

It SHOULD be a very VERY smooth transition, no problems.

Log out should be the last option or maybe the first option it looks funny being in the middle of everything.

GLBSE is down at the moment (forums are still up though), so anyone wondering why there's your answer.

I expect it to be a few hours overall, I'd like to keep downtime to a min, but at the same time I don't want to rush anything. Mistakes are costly.

I am very excited about GLBSE 2.0 and the eventual API.  Just curious.  Are there any plans in the future for features in the portfolio such as is found in Google Finance or Yahoo Finance?  It would be a great place for the contract issuers to post up things like earnings reports and would be great for users to be able to track their investments.  When the API is put up will it be able return values like the current volume, total shares offerred, ect?

Introducing constraints to the economy only serves to limit what can be economical.

Are GLBSE 1.0 claims not instant, or am I doing something wrong? I enter the code I was given, and it just goes to the normal account page without any dialogue, but doesn't update the stats.

I had a typo, you may want to try again, it worked fine for me as soon as I found the typo.

My seemed to work.  Like nefario said previously the history will not be updated yet.  But you should see at the very bottom of the page in the Portfolio section something like "GLBSE1MIGRATION".

After most users have claimed their account I can start bringing GLBSE1.0 history over. For the time being though everything is a fresh slate.

Will the buy and sell orders from the 1.0 be moved over to 2.0?

Ah, thanks. Chrome wouldn't let me copy the text so I typed it by hand and missed a letter. Now all's well.

Cheers!

Orders don't seem to be sorting correctly by per share amount.  Below is how MergedMining sales orders are currently displayed.
