If I run a slimcoin-qt.exe on one computer and minerd.exe on another, the command 'gethashespersec' will show the overall hashrate (from both computers) or just a hashrate from slimcoin-qt.exe?
I only got a hashrate from the slimcoin-qt.exe. Is it correct?
How i can check that the minerd.exe is working correctly?

ok thanks!

I am still little confused about the POB..
if you burn coins and not get anything, then you wasted your coins for good? or is the hash still viable for future blocks?

I am little worried about the effect it might have when burning coins are not profitable for the most part. which will deter people from gambling with their coins by burning them. the whole concept hinges on burning coins are more profitable than mining.

For Building On Linux:

The binaries provided require boost shared libraries to be installed locally for they are not statically linked in. If you want to build on linux, compile Slimcoin from source.
There is a build-unix.txt file in the /doc directory of Slimcoin that explains how to compile it from source and what libraries are needed. I will work on getting the statically linked binaries for Slimcoin, but until then, compilation from source is the best option.
