Rebranding is an option, but not a good one, considering there has never been a successful rebrand of a coin thus far. There are a lot of coins with a lot of much worse names, and we don't anticipate it being an issue long-term. In fact we think the name/theme will be an asset when a Chinese exchange adds us Keep voting at Mintpal and Cryptsy, and we'll keep working on getting Bter and BTC38 to add us. Its a seriously good thing to see you are open to rebrand name if it needed ! We will see where it goes, but actually the first problem I can see when I talk to people about mast is the name ! And don't forget there's no long term in cryptoworld You're wrong. Crypto is here to stay. Im not saying this is gonna to die. Im saying There's no long term plan on cryptoworld only because its a too young market, hype and Ideas move too fast.

I think he meant that there is no "long term" in crypto because the majority of new coins will fail or become irrelevant in a very short time period. A few coins will survive long-term though, and as they grow, will appreciate substantially in value. That's our goal.

Yes,but you need to do on track on what news. MAST have a unique feature, thats true, but it still a copy coin in fact, like 99% of coin. WHat coin are not copy? DRK,BTC,LTC... Coinrecycler is a very good thing and like I said,it can open new door if you have a good programmer inside team. Also,How many you are in team? Whats your experience in programming ? I ask that because I have work long time in SQL and basic(a bit c++ too) so Im curious You'll need a bit more transparency in team too to attract more serious investisor(whale if you prefer) and a website would be a nice thing too thanks !

Okay now i see what you meant. But consider this: Ebay, amazon, google, and hotmail were all copy websites. They all operate in fundamentally the same way, they use HTML, they use databases, and they provide services. Wouldn't you have liked to own a few shares of those companies back when they first got started? I agree that we won't know immediately which coins are actually going to stick around, but specifications, activity, development, and interest can help shape this view.

Hi, I have a problem of the wallet not staking properly - Last version mined me Mast 3 seperate times early on then seemed to stop , but coins were stuck staking and not spendable. Downloaded latest version 1.0.1.0 and coins spendable again , unlocking wallet gives message that its staking when hovering over green arrow (weight network weight etc time to reward 3 mins) .But never rewards for days , Is synced , tried closing for day and re sync blockchain but still nothing . What's my next move ? Thanks in advance for any help .

It sounds like you have done this but just checking... Assuming you have a copy of your wallet.dat file, you could delete everything in the Matiff directory with the exception of the wallet. Let it sync, mine will only get to the end of POW then I have to restart the wallet and it will finish syncing. After that, unlock your wallet for a long duration maybe 999999. If this does not work, send your coins to an exchange. Then delete the whole Mastiff folder including your wallet.dat file. Relaunch the latest wallet and let it sync, send coins to new address. This is all assuming you are running Windows. Anything else this may not apply.

When you delete that file you will no longer have access to any of your old addresses.

The MAX_MONEY is set to 5M coins at the moment, which is enough for several years of PoS coins being minted before it would need to be extended. There's no richlist yet, but if anyone would like to make one we'll be happy to include it in the ANN OP.
Thanks for taking the initiative with the PoS spreadsheet! I updated it to reflect that the PoS interest is 15%.

Can we get any kind of updates? I am typically patient but as the price plummets my hands are trembling... Need some encouragement, I hate to dump everything out.
