Because they are stupid, if they really wanted to sell that bad there are buy orders in the 600s on bittrex.  Look at the charts, why anyone would sell at these prices is beyond me especially with what is in the works.

it's obvious they sold a few of there own coins really cheap to start a panic, it's not working because no one is selling under 900, and it was only 2 orders at 120 and both very small amounts, i'm still holding.

Look at the history.  Someone came in and took out the entire buywall in one epic sell.  We're talking a couple hundred thousand coins in microsecond increments.  It is one seller and that seller sold all the way from about 1000 down to 500, and the next highest bid happened to be 121, even while the sell wall was at about 1100 the whole time.  Then that buyer sat there at 121 for ten minutes thinking money would fall from the sky.

Then they went to bittrex and did something similar.

.
I can confirm that mine is staking like there is no tomorrow  Grin

Proof:
http://chainz.cryptoid.info/dis/address.dws?DMp7iQh1z4CM14gEEXqyXAije7aXf46LrY.htm

remenber to have
- the newest .net 4 Framework as Windows User
- using qt4 NOT qt5 as Linus user
- Having your wallet encrypted BUT unlocked
- having coins, that reached the minimum coinage

Configfile, peers: I never made a configfile everything worked out of the box for both versions after compiling the wallet from github sources

system:
1) kubuntu trusty
2) Mint KDE saucy
3) windows 7 MSDN Dev Version

hope that clarifys some of the confusions

.. have fun, ask if you need help, but stop complaining.

.

Thanks for the info, but it still isn't working.  The first time around, I had .Net 4, and the wallet was open for 24 hours and did not stake.  I've now been running another wallet in a fresh win7 vm using .net 4.5, as suggested by someone here, and it has now been open for a couple of hours and nothing is happening.

Is it supposed to take 24 hours?  What about 2 hours?  Three days?  A week? How long?  For anyone who has actually staked on windows, what is the maximum time you've waited?  What is the minimum?

I've posted a variety of debug log excerpts and other info on here in the hope that would help fix the problem.

Hmmmmm isnt this the premine address http://chainz.cryptoid.info/dis/address.dws?1367.htm . they are still there
Oh, how you came to that conclusion?
I dont think so.. dev said he had 2.000.000 premine and already spent like 500k+ on bounties. So probably not. The address I gave is the one dev confirmed to keep premine at.

If the premine was dumped now would've been the worst time to do it.  But still the dev should explain

We have not dumped the premine, we are still trying to get the wallet staking working. 3 Individual consultants have already been paid to work on it. We are working on a UNIVERSAL solution to the problems. No we are not abandoning the coin nor are we abandoning our community. We are also combing the thread for all the data provided. Thank you for all the information provided so far.

My only advice is communication can head off all the speculation.

Blocks being generated normally now.  I do see where there was an hour between block 51650 and 51651 and they were slow for the two hours before that.

-.
had exactly the same on that block (kind of strange). Try restarting your wallet, that made the trick for me
