I also think the massive sells are from speculative investors that bought in early before the big rise. Bad hype and multipool dumps might lower the price and perceived value of a coin, but it doesn't "kill" it. Faulty coding and irresponsible/unresponsive devs kill coins, and we have neither of those here so far. I expect a rebound by next week.. especially since I bought in at a way higher price  Grin Roll Eyes

Anon Wallet in Testnet
Yes. The anon version of supercoin is released for testing. The anon features are only available in testnet now. This version of supercoin client works for regular network too (no difference from the latest Version 1.2).

Download testnet Anon Wallet
http://www.super-coin.net/Supercoin-Anon.zip (alfa soon to beta)

Testnet Config
To run in testnet, in conf file put

Code:
 testnet=1 (replace from 0 to 1)

and these init nodes:

addnode=199.102.71.158
addnode=93.104.211.172
addnode=216.31.10.131
addnode=88.147.180.16

Sample conf:
Code:
testnet=1
listen=1
addnode=199.102.71.158
addnode=93.104.211.172
addnode=216.31.10.131
addnode=88.147.180.16
maxconnections=100
server=1
daemon=1
rpcuser=user
rpcpassword=pass
rpcport=19391
rpcconnect=127.0.0.1

PM supercointeam or supercoindev if you want us send you some test coins. Or you can solo mine yourself, very easy to mine. But remember, this is testnet coins, which are worthless, just for testing.

To send in anon mode, check the "anonymous send" checkbox in "send Coin" tab. You can of course use the regular send too (just uncheck the box). For testing purpose we limit max 10000 SUPERs in each anonymous-send.

Only qt client can send anonymous, and for now only windows client is available for testing.

We need feedbacks, what's expected from you to test it and let us know if it works or not. I can support extra nodes in some cases. Please advice also how we can improve it. Thank you.

Nice, a quick test show it works fine! I will post some screenshots.

Well done , great work devs ;-)

Now , if block reward its reduced to 32 or 16 the value of coin only can grow exponentially ..... without multipools stoping the momentum and drop the price.

bring on the ANON   Cool

Thats the plus side of multipool dumping. Ive gained almost a full btc off the dips. Bought in at 4100, sold off at 5900. Wash rinse and repeat.

Here is a Simple a analysis on Supercoin reasonable price after Anon wallet release

Until now, only Dark coin and XC coin has some Anon features

Darkcoin has a worked mixer but also some problem with their master node
XC coin has a test net mixer and do not worked Anon wallet yet, they will have a version2.0 two weeks later.
Vericoin do not have a Anon wallet, they only have a development plan
Supercoin has a Anon wallet on testnet.

Dark coin Current total supply   is 4.3 Million, the Price is 1.7 Million Satoshi/11$
XC   coin  Current total supply  is 5.5 Million, the Price is  130K Satoshi/0.84$
Vericoin Current total supply    is  26 Million, the Price is   15K Satoshi/0.1$
Supercoin Current total supply is  10 Million, the Price is   3K?Huh/0.018$???

personally i think we have done much work on Anon features than Vericoin

so the reasonable Supercoin price at least hit 15K*2.6=37.5K Satoshi
if we compared with XC coin, the reasonable price will hit 60K Satoshi.

now the Current Supercoin price is only 3K Satoshi.

so what are we waiting for???. Grin

just a reminder

i can't see it affecting the price, we are like the only one with a anon wallet working, this is gonna go crazy, but dev should consider ending pow early

We don't know our own graphic designer can do even better one. Also we can't use it like this, it has to be in 3 different sizes. See the contest rules. :-) Thanks again. You are a real talent.

OK SUPER anon feature works fine for me!

sending 123.456 SUPERs to my other wallet in another machine:

The system apparently split it into two parts, and sent to 2 different addresses (sometimes I see split into 3 parts):

And my other wallet receives it, in 123.456 SUPERs, no split. The transaction is fast Smiley

Great job devs!!
