First I want to thank farmdve (aka Remember remember the 5th of November) for the great job.

The miner runs well under windows, but I cannot start it on Ubuntu 12.04 x64 nor the original build with the 2% fee
The miner start, but it is not hashing and when I quit it gets 100% cpu usage on one core.

Any ideas ?!

P.S.
===
sph-sgminer is working fine on that machine, but I get 20% lower speed on the same card/seddings/miner version compared to windows, maybe something's wrong with my install.

I have to say the Devs + friends of Darkcoin are true geniuses...They have been mining this version of SGminer since day one with their farms, while they initial released it as "only" a CPU coin, then released a GPU friendly version that mined at half the hash rate to gain even more adoption and drive the price up, and finally release the version they all have been mining on after the hard fork (even if this is the version the Devs are running on...they probably still have an even more optimized version).

My hats off to you guys Wink

whats the power draw now with this new version...is it still way below that of script/script-n? Or is it pretty much the same now that the GPU's are getting fully utilized?

The gpu's are still not being fully utilized, you only have to compare to Nvidia gpu hash rates to understand that.

power draw is still low as are temps

What is WU in the stats?
it is around 0.200/m

I read in the net that this is actual rate that pool receive.

I can't say anything about user girino who originally optimized the X11 OpenCL kernel or evan, but for me and lasybear this is simply not true. Not to mention I only got into Darkcoin because of user girino and his forced 2% donation.

So the manual way of updating (compiling) at the end of page 13 worked for you?  Then I assume you just go into the cgminer.x11.conf file and change the kernel to "x11mod" ?

I just went into pimp and typed "pimpupdate" on the command line and installed the x11mod

He's spamming random threads. It's pretty annoying. Not to mention he's on freenode, too.

Right. After this I get an X11Mod selection in poolmanager, but trying to start the miner gives a server error.  Same error if I try the regular X11 miner.

getting HW, running 5pcs 280x toxic 8GB ram, driver 13.1 by techpowerup, win 8.1 with this settings. anyone knows how to fix this?

anyone knows how to fix this?

I don't have a 280X... but I would say: drop worksize to 128, and gpu-memclock to 1500. I get HW errs on my 270's with really high clocks and have to reboot. If nothing else at least try dropping worksize to 128. Also I see you have shaders "0", I would either remove that or set it to the correct number of shaders

i tried what u said .. still getting HW Sad

i'm getting errors too with my 280x if i oc to 1140+ the core, try to lower the core to 1100, or your default

but i'm getting errors only on the first slot gpu

No matter what settings i use , still HW. what catalyst version are u guys using? im currently using 13.1 by techpowerup which is moded for 6gpus.. since i just got 5 gpus now, do u advise that i go back to the default catalyst driver?
