Is there a command to automatically decrease the GPU workload, for example, when streaming a movie. I have some stuttering and a lot of artifacts while the SGminer is running. It would be excellent if the GPU workload was maximized only when the computer is idle. "GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT" does not seem to affect this.
This is what dynamic intensity is for. You can set this in the running miner by pressing G, I and D (in case of a single GPU) or G, I, 2, D for GPU #2. Alternatively, use "d" instead of the intensity number in your config. IMHO, it's better to keep a fixed, high intensity otherwise, but you can set it to dynamic for the movie, and then back.

Will this work for 7950's? I've seen report of all the R9's but no 7900 series card?

I have 2 machines running this with 14.6 drivers. one machine is showing normal cpu usage. The other is showing 100%. Both only show one process sgminer*32. The only difference between the 2 machines is I had slimcoin miner on the one acting funny, but nobody is answering my questions there. This issue started over the weekend and the only downloads I made were these kernels and the slimcoin wallet. I've since removed the slimcoin wallet and the miner and still having the issue. I don't want to accuse slimcoin of this, as if may have been due to something else. I just trying to see if anyone experiencing the same issues.

Also i have normal cpu usage until I run sgminer, even if I run CGminer I still get 100% usage I was thinking maybe it was the drivers, but since the other machine isn't doing it I'm kind of stumped.

If you're using a Linux, try to add LD_LIBRARY_PATH to point to your driver directory in your startup script. For example: export LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/usr/lib/fglrx:$LD_LIBRARY_PATH

New files working well with the 290x, 7970, and 7950 in both x11 and x13. Didn't add any performance to the 5970 sadly. All tested with the beta 14.6 driver.

It works good, I prefer some K/hash loss instead of activating/deactivating every time I'm doing something on my computer. Not mention when someone in my family want to stream something. Let's see if it is stable...

Maybe I should code a Tipping bot, instead of these well-known DDos bots. I would tip your Wallets until these were overloaded.

Will this work with drivers 14.4 or earlier? I know it says 14.6 only but I read somewhere that it worked without it.
