Try 5 version with a modified kernel.  R9 280x   Driver 14.6  win7.1     X11   4250-4300 Mh/s
https://www.dropbox.com/s/80vq649c5fisp99/sgminer5.0_update2.zip

I can't get more than 4.5 on r9 290 ... but some people report 5.1 ... and on 7950 I get 3.8 is someone having more on 7950 ?
Hi,

which x11,13.... coin seems profitable ?i  think of giving up xmr mining

You can try multipools like wafflepool.com,it has X11 and X13. They are more profitable than ming solo coin.

Please help
I have mining farm with 2x7950
when I'm starting sphminer it starts mining but pc freeezes and I can not connect to it through VNC
Also video cards start to make strange scratching noises I did not notice on another algos (fan is 30% fixed)
it stops responding but keeps "doing something"
pool shows nothing(0 khash)
once in a few minutes I am able connect to pc again miner shows this
http://s29.postimg.org/3rizzhmp3/x11.jpg

First I thought it was pool issue but I changed the pool with no success - absolutely same result
Btw there is no monitors connected so I don't know why it keeps saying that "more then one monitor connected" and opencl and adl maps do not match

Hey guys,

I downloaded and configured the sgminer on this thread.
I get no accept or reject shares, and also suchpool is showing 0 hashing from my miner, even though the command window shows 5 MH/s.

I am using R9 290x Sapphire Tri-c with Catalyst 14.7 drivers, Windows 8.1 64 bit.

Here is my command batch file:
set GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT=100
set GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS=1
sgminer -k x11mod -o stratum+tcp://stratum1.suchpool.pw:3335 -u guppysb.user -p x-I 18 -g 4 -w 128

Here is a SS of the window:
http://i58.tinypic.com/30mwmqa.png

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You got lots of HW errors in miner screen,
Try this
"sgminer -k x11mod -o stratum+tcp://stratum1.suchpool.pw:3335 -u guppysb.user -p x-I 19 -g 1 -w 256 "

Hi guys - it's not clear to me from the last umpteen pages of the thread, so I will pose the question:

Does upgrading from 14.4 to 14.6 increase the hashrate for x13 mining?

I can clearly see big gains being posted by lots of people for x11, but it's not clear if 14.6 is giving a big advantage for x13.   I have 14.4 drivers right now, using lasybear's miner, and am getting 2.54Mh/s on my 280x's with x13 mining at intensity 16.

Is it worth it to upgrade to 14.6?

No, no noticeable change with my 280x's over 14.4 with x13.  But why not try the trick where you put the open dll files of the 14.6 in the sgminer folder?  http://www.reddit.com/r/vertcoin/comments/298gqc/greenpool_x11_amd_144146_drivers_trick_for_extra/

Open source (== NO HIDDEN MININGS) version of X11/X13 algo sgminer with separate kernels.

Upd. 2014-06-03
  • Fix x13mod for AMD HD 5xxx/6xxx cards. Use for these cards "kernel" : "x13modold" in config file or -k x13modold from the command line. All parameters (intensity, threads etc) need to be tuned individually.
  • A little improvement in hamsi kernel.
  • Further fixes and improvements will be committed to innovative sgminer 5 only: https://github.com/sgminer-dev/sgminer/tree/v5_0.
Windows binaries (actual):
https://www.dropbox.com/s/sodbzky1e3p2d32/sgminer_x11x13mod_03_06_2014.zip

Upd. 2014-05-28
  • Added x13mod (Marucoin, Boostcoin etc) support
  • Increased time to SICK state
  • Experimental: hashbuffer allocation depends of initial {i, xi, rawi}ntensity. Maybe increase a stability, maybe not...
Windows binaries (previous):
https://www.dropbox.com/s/umdtns7vfvpnca4/X13mod.zip

Mainly thanks, obviously, girino for his brilliant idea.

Thanks to Elun for actual Windows binaries.

Thanks to Remember remember the 5th of November for extracting kernels file from "girino's 2% fee version miner" and providing Windows binaries.

Increased time to SICK state (WTF? - read https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=623409.msg6949113#msg6949113)

## Mod x11 (separate kernels)

0. Use "kernel" : "x11mod" in config file or -k x11mod via command line.
1. In case of instability please set a little bit lower engine frequency than a original sgminer.
