Have there been any new miners forks or updates of existing miner software, since the last one that boosted X11 and X13 by a lot? It's so hard to keep track of anything in crypto nowadays.

Some BAMT with this new x11mod miner? PLZzz You can add Sgminer 5 to bamt. Look on the reddit page there should be instructions there. If you need help pm me. Chad

I'm getting 30 kh/s per 7970 on x13...
My config is: -k x13mod -g 1 --gpu-engine=1000 --gpu-memclock=1400 --thread-concurrency=8192 --lookup-gap=2 -w 256
If anyone can help me, thatd be nice.

You should use more "g" and also it looks like you are not setting intensity.

I also would like to know anymore updates to X11 Getting above 5.7MH/s stable with my 280X on X11, using a kernel I heavily modified. 290X is getting 6.5MH/s at (almost) stock clocks, that is, 1000/1500. 7950 pulling around 4.87MH/s at 1120/1500. And 270X getting 3.53MH/s at 1150/1500. Src?

when I used to optimize x11 some months ago I used to get around 6Mh/s with the r9 290. then it became unprofitable...

Holy shit! I should have tried two GPU threads on my 290X ages ago! Getting 7.6MH/s X11 at 1000/1500! Am I to understand you're using a public version of SGMiner 5, but with modded kernels that have not been released yet? Last time I ran X11 I was getting 6-6.1 Mhash with my 290X's, so those are impressive numbers.

Anybody fancy giving a new ATI miner a hand with some configurations?
I've recently moved over from Nvidia after my 750 Ti basically blew up on me, so I have an R9 280x now.
I'm trying to get to grips with the original cgminer, but then I'm also finding more and more forks of the original miner which are basically used to improve hashing rates. Which is fine, I have no problems with that, but I'm becoming confused on which miner I should actually use.
So could anybody give me a hand?
Right now I'm mining x11 at 3.3Mh/s using a .bat file config, which is below.
setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100 sgminer.exe -k x11mod -o stratum+tcp://useast.blackcoinpool.com:3333 -u Lizzardis.1 -p <hidden> -I 16 --auto-fan --temp-target 75 --temp-cutoff 90 -g 2 -w 256 --thread-concurrency 22400
Right now I'm using this mod which is linked in the OP of this thread, and I'm getting those results above.
Can anyone give me any idea of which SG or CGMiner I can use in order to squeeze out more hashes? And also how I can tweak my configurations to do the same?
I'd appreciate any help at all!

Thread concurrency is not used with X11. I have 290X's, so my advice may be a little off, but try playing with Xintensities around 64 or 68 (for some reason even numbers consistently work better for me). Also reduce worksize to 64. You can also try bumping up your clockrates modestly until you start seeing GPU's go sick/dead. I'm using SGminer 5 builds that I think came from badman (backtrack in this thread and see his link in his signature). I'm thinking you should be able to get to around 4.8 MH once optimized (I get just over 6.0 with a 290X and I think a 280X is about 80% as fast), faster if someone shares some of the new kernels that people are boasting about here.... My best advise is to backtrack in this thread and take note of the configs people report success with. Try the various hamsci settings and so forth one at a time keeping track of the results each time.

Thank you for your help! After downloading the files from Badman74, I had a bash doing what you'd suggested. After allowing EVGA to control the GPU fans, replacing -w with 64 and bumping my clock rates up slightly (they will go higher), I was able to get 3.8MH out of my 280x. However, when I tried to play around with XIntensity... The command was invalid? Is it -Xi I should use? Because it couldn't recognise the command, and I'd like to take your advice on xintensity first, before I bump my clock speeds up even further. Also... Excuse me for being stupid, I'm used to CUDA after all , but what do you mean by hamsci settings? That's a term I'm far from familiar with... Thank you for your help though, this is much appreciated! You've already given me an extra 500KH, and that's a lot more than I did on my own!

You've already given me an extra 500KH, and that's a lot more than I did on my own! I use the following line item in my profiles.conf file (and formerly in the config file), for Xintensity: "xintensity" : "68",If you are doing it in a command line I think it is just "x" or "-x" not "-xi" IIRC. As for hamsci, there are a couple settings people have been mentioning here lately. I'm not a coder so I don't know what they do, but they either helped my hashrate or at least didn't hurt. I'm not at my miner right now, but here's a few lines I added from my old baseline config: "hamsi-expand-big" : "7", "hamsi-short" : true, "extranonce-subscription" : trueHope this helps...

Can anyone offer me some advice?
Have been using the 5/28 version of this miner for a while with little problems. Have been getting around 4-4.5 mh/s on my 290x cards (seems that is low from others recent posts!), but recently started experiencing my AMD driver crashing which forces a reboot in order to mine again. Never had this issue at all on my main pc but my spare has been doing it for a while when I try to work on it while mining, this has been a minor issue since I never do much work on my spare, but now that my main is doing it I must resolve the problem so I can mine while working!
My current AMD driver version is 13.350.1005.0
My bat file that I run while working on my main pc is.........
setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100 setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1
sgminer -k x11mod -o stratum+tcp://canna.suprnova.cc:4442 -u user.worker -p mypassword -I 15,20 -g 1,1 -w 128,128
Any advice on boosting performance and ending these crashes?
Thanks so much!!
