Far from dead.  Maieuticoin will be used to buy The Snowball (staking hardware)

Not if it gets delisted from Bittrex - Nov 21

Just so this is out in the open early...

Once we get to the flat 1000% stake, we will be merging Maieuticoin and Snowballs into one block chain. There will be a set number of coins mined in the first block. Half will go towards a trade-in for Maieuticoin and half will be a trade-in for Snowballs. You will receive your new coins at a rate that is fair and puts each half at a comparable value. The new coin will remain Snowballs (BALLS) as the name and ticker and the stake will be a flat 1000%. This will not happen until after Snowballs Block 100,000

It doesn't matter now, as soon Maieuticoin is going to be delisted from bittrex, which would unfortunately be the end of Maieuticoin. I should have done some more research before investing so much btc into this coin.
I got in when the price was .025 and since there are huge sell walls for reaching that price. I guess i will have to dump at a loss.

This is good news and makes Maieuticoin a far, far better choice if you're thinking about investing in BALLS long-term (or short term for that matter).  At only $7,000 USD total market cap, M is CHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAP

I'm assuming your talking about Maieuticoin?  What is the reason for changing the yearly yield?

Yes, there is no more merge. The reason is because the coin is dying at 50% and rather than stand on the principle of keeping it rare, I would prefer if the M holders have a chance to not hold a dead coin

So this will be an increase in yield?   Personally I liked it how it is.  Maybe a little more/better advertising....  But since the total coin supply is so low, your community is going to be small, and that results in less chatter.  Catch22...   Coin control would have been nice.

Also, since your putting out a change anyway, is there anyway to fix the wallet so it shows the first block getting staked?    Both M and Snowball have this problem.   First block to stake doesn't show in the Stake: total on the main wallet window.  When you have 2 staking the second will show.  And once your all done staking the total is correct.

Yes, it will increase. Version 1.0.3 already has coin control

We are aware of that UI issue, but getinfo will always be accurate. Still not sure where the hiccup is in the display, though

I'm all for anything to bring some more attention to M, but I wouldn't get too crazy with the POS rate unless fees are increased as well to offset new coins created by staking.  I kinda like the idea of a low coin supply.

Why don't you call getinfo() for the display if getinfo is always accurate?

I don't like the idea of being diluted as such a rate, I like it how it is now.

It seems like this is just your little toy. Every few days you wake up and ask, "what should I do to M coin today? Change the name? change the staking? how about another fork?" Would be nice to see an overall plan and strategy that is stuck to and executed.

You need to check the volume of M on poloniex, the last trade happened on 16th and before that 10 days ago. M getting delisted from bittrex means killing a dead coin again. The only thing you can do right now is prevent it from getting delisted from bittrex . All you have to do is put a sell wall and buy into your own sell wall, which would generate trade volume and cause you no loss.
