I had some confusion as well.
Download the new wallet
get the address from the receive coins tab.
copy the address
go to coinking.io
enter your address on screen where it says enter your new piggy address.
A new screen will load with a unique pig address to send your old coins.
copy it send the old pig coins.
Anymore questions i will be glad to help.

As the old piggy blockchain moves slow, it can take some time before you get the new coins, 30min to hours I think

I'm told it takes 5 confirmations, plus up to 5 minutes, for the new PIGGY to be sent to you. At the moment, the old blockchain is moving quite slowly (as the old blockchain has much lower hash than before, and difficulty has not yet fully adjusted), so 5 confirmations could take around an hour or more. Once the difficulty has adjusted, it will probably take around 20-30 minutes. If anyone is still having problems understanding how to transfer PIG from the old wallet to the new PIGGY wallet, or from Poloniex to your new wallet, please mention it here. |

There not a risk for my 1m old pigs? So long as you do each step correctly, there should be no risk! Mine transferred without problems, in a little under an hour. |

Can you tell us exactly what it is you are trying to do, when you got that message? Are you transferring your old PIG to coinking to be sent back as new PIGGY? More details please... |
