So the old piggy was to be mined till today, 62500 block. But I noticed that block time is way longer than 1 minutes and it will take more than 1 day to mine the last block; as for now, it just mined 61407th block. Can we mine until the last block if the mining doesn't end by today?
The old blockchain is still being mined, and will continue to give block rewards until block 62500; after that block, it will still be mineable, but will give no block rewards. The block times are generally longer than 1 minute, as the difficulty hasn't yet fully adjusted to the reduced hashrate now that everybody is mining X11 PIGGY rather than Scrypt PIG. The original date mentioned for block 62500 would have been an estimate based on the average block time. But piggydev decided to launch X11 PIGGY at a fixed time rather than when the old blockchain hit block 62500; I think it was the right decision. Having the old blockchain moving is important as it allows everyone to exchange their PIG for PIGGY at the coinking site.

That's just the way transactions are represented in the blockchain. The coinking exchange wallet had 146 million PIGGY which are being distributed over the next few days as people send in their old PIG (now it's 113 million). Each transaction from this wallet involves two outputs: a small output (to the person who is exchanging PIG for PIGGY) and a large output (the remainder, i.e. a bit less than 146 million) back to coinking. If coinking send 12 transactions in one block, then 12 lots of 146 million coins will appear in the block. But they're all the same coin - it doesn't mean there are suddenly 1.7 billion coins (there aren't!). tl;dr: nothing to worry about

Hey guys! So.... We have a new piggybank, version 1.1 You guys don't need to upgrade it since it's just a cosmetic upgrade. But it's a BIG cosmetic upgrade. We will be updating the piggybank with more features in the next days. The big things in this upgrade is the cosmetic part and a stats tab! We also need your help, tell us what you wanna see in the next release! And to make it interesting I personally will offer 10,000 PIGGY to the suggestions that make it into the next piggybank release (try not to start a big fuss in the comments with suggestions spam and PIGGY begging) You can always download the latest Piggybank here. Big thanks to flubber, we couldn't have made this without him. I'll leave you with some screens. PS: 1.1 mac piggybank is not out yet.

That is a downright amazing new wallet! Love the great things coming from pig and excited for the future! I have a great idea would like to hear what everyone thinks. What about making a Piggy Trust wallet? or maybe just making an additional page on the new wallet called Trust Fund. This would be somewhere you can lock your wallet down for a long time (1 year, 5 years, 10 years, etc). continue to collect stake but forced into a trust fund. This would promote long term saving and the more people put into the trust funds, the less thats available in public. If this were maybe a seperate program it could be marketed as something for your kids. Fill a trust fund and continue to contribute to it over time. Provide for your childs college funds via piggy! I really like this idea. an additional idea ontop of this would be to make the trusts visible as a trust. So that if someone else asks for donations for example. it would be clear they are going to a trust rather then just into another wallet (not that it makes a huge difference) Any additional ideas/opinions on this? (LOL I just noticed the competition, had NO idea this was even going on. Whether this idea is implemented for the contest is irrelevant. I hope to see this in the future and again even possibly seperate from the wallet )

Can you folks mining on the old pool, http://piggy.chickenstrips.net shoot me a message on bitcointalk please if you have stuck coins. We were having a problem with people trying to mine the new coin on the old pool, despite there being a big message on the top saying go to the new one haha. We were getting flooded with x11 connection attempts. We want to slowly phase out the old pool once we near 62500 and all the coins are withdrawn, but there is very little left. We may have to put some of the cold storage back into the pool because I think we're running -50k right now because that's what triggered the payouts to stop. For you folks on the new pool, http://pigx11.chickenstrips.net thanks so much for the support we've been around since day 1 and glad to see this until the POW phase is over. We could use a bit of hash as well, I think we're only at 1gh/s right now.

To further add to my idea about a Piggy Trust. Or to give a possible implementation of sorts. Have multiple "wallets" of certain years. ie 2015 wallet, 2016 wallet, etc etc (would have to go at least 20-25 years ahead max but they would be simple duplicates that had minor changes like dat file renamed and graphics maybe). Have each of these wallets have a different cool piggy symbol (just for flare to help sell the idea) then promote these to everyone. try to get people to setup piggy trust funds and buy buy buy! then mine to fill the trust! the more they accumulate faster the quicker they can stake! Also since there is a competition figure id throw in my other idea for the wallet: block explorer . shouldn't be too hard to add i would hope . Would certainly be a cool addition directly to the wallet. Another idea: similar break the bank type idea possibly we were talking about before but it would basically have to be majorly targeted towards parents. set a max limit then once the limit is reached the pig breaks and gives funds back but instead of basing this on a pig limit. base it on the USD equivelant of pig. currently would have to be in conversion of piggy/btc/usd but this would just give pig one more interesting way to save/store pig. Set a goal for your kids thats easily breakable. When wallet is first created by parents have them set an emergency break passcode (encryption). I dunno just ideas. I still like the trust fund idea best, many ways to implement it not sure what would work best. Any opinions?

bittrex has new piggy. you do not have to register with coinking simply follow the link in the OP. Put in your new wallet address and it will provide you a different address to send your old piggy to.

bittrex has new piggy. you do not have to register with coinking simply follow the link in the OP. Put in your new wallet address and it will provide you a different address to send your old piggy to. Is it the same on Poloniex? I have coins there but not sure how to convert them. I've logged into Coinking, but still unsure what to do as I don't want to lose my coins.
