Guys if you struggle with dropped connection/low peers when upgrading to new wallet then stop the cloak wallet, delete peers.dat and restart.

With all the fud today and lack of volume I think Cloak may have found its bottom. Time will tell.
You may be right but the recent volatility would suggest anything's possible. It's unfortunate that there are people like Bobsurplus so active here. It does nothing for this community's certainty and level-headedness. His constant undermining and destabilisation in other coins' threads and, what's been suggested to be, double dealing by making blind trades with his 'club' members to extract an advantage from them, is (if true) absolutely appalling and a major reason why new money won't come into crypto and help Cloak become more stable. |

Can't you see that this is exactly what is stopping serious money from coming here and getting the prices of key crypto's like Cloak to really take off? Dont flatter me. This has nothing to do with me and everything to do with a free market. If you don't like the crypto game you can always become a real life coin collector. At least then people like me cant mess with your perfect little coin.
What I'd like to know is when will you understand that I have very little impact on new investors joining the cloakcamp. That all lies on the shoulders of the cloakcamp devs and the tech they roll out. Not me, not 100 btc and not pumpers.. Its the coin and devs themselves!
On that front, I hear some MAJOR stuff is in the works that will blow some minds. Keeping that in mind I do believe with some new news the price will start to move again and hopefully settle above 200K.

Where you've misstated how things are working is that your suggestion of you having very little impact would be correct when the market is far bigger. Yes, it's the technology and the capability/certainty of the development team that will engender trust and be the main input into Cloak's price; EVENTUALLY. At the moment, this market is so small, someone with your dubious modus operandi and (oh so obvious) manipulative mindset isn't helpful and does do enormous damage. You could actually do so much here that would truly add value but you're committed to playing the classic p&der's game, FUDing in other threads and talking Cloak up in an overly positive way that again just makes it all look very suspect. |

Anyone get the linux wallet running on ubuntu 14.04? An "ldd cloakcoin-qt" gives me: libboost_system.so.1.53.0 => not found
libboost_filesystem.so.1.53.0 => not found
libboost_program_options.so.1.53.0 => not found
libboost_thread.so.1.53.0 => not found
The ubuntu repos don't have 1.53 (they have 1.54), and I tried some symlinks, but it looks like some files might be different (unless my install is borked). Any help would be appreciated, or maybe a newer build . For others having this issue, try the solution posted here: http://pastebin.com/MukM8wbE |
