CloakStrong. This fud storm will pass. It will make us stronger. Endured a similar passing with dark. It's hard but listen to fearcoka, hold and reap the rewards. Those who sold sub .01 will be sad. CloakStrong

+1 nicely said dark.

It also doesn't help that a Bittrex rep actively told investors that the cloak devs left the project.. It's one thing when there are forum trolls, it's another thing when the message is coming from one of the larger (soon to be extinct) altcoin exchanges. This is just a good time to buy cloak for everyone that that missed the boat the first time around.

I definitely won't be trading on Bittrex anymore, that's for sure. This incident deserves a crypto article. hmmmm Wink

I turned in a ticket at MintPal quoting the incident and asking them to open markets for SDC and LXC so I can move my coins ,maybe if they get enough requests they will do it.
I'm not sure if i get this right, maybe you can help me out:
  • you opened a ticket on MintPal
  • this ticket contains a description of the Bittrex-mod thingy
  • and because of that, MintPal should add SDC- and LXC-trading
  • you did that to be able to "move your coins"
My question is: how are all those points related to each other?

.edit:
Is it that you have a place to trade SDC and LXC, because you don't want to trade on Bittrex anymore? If so: understood. Although I seriously doubt that MintPal will comply and add markets just because of this situation. Smiley

.edit2:
CLOACK looks very promising  Smiley
I like that the dev are active and working on the site, and have no plans of dumping when CLOACK goes to the moon.
Thank you all the good work us little folks we like that, have good portofulio of alt: CLOACK, STEALTH and CANNABIS COIN.
Happy tuesday!

Hey Brian (and the few others that keep writing "Cloack")

It's a small thing but an important one. You wouldn't see someone from Apple spelling that very successful business "Appel". And you would never see someone from Google writing Gewgle. And you wouldn't think too much of someone that keeps calling you Brianne would you (because that's not your name)!

Likewise, the name of Cloak is not Cloack. You're not respecting it by continually spelling it incorrectly.
Nice words and good example for not being insulting while pointing out somebody's typos. Smiley

funniest thing about the bittrex thing is she is constantly saying the same things in here and being deleted left and right. was causing problems in the cloak irc a while back etc. and does the same type of things in trex irc and on the trollbox. Now that people are scared about the price allofasudden people care. people need to chill, it's messed up sure, but acting like some little girl has all that power is just f#cking silly. kitaco or tacocat or whatever she calls herself does not matter... period.
Full ack.

In general, people tend to surrender to the compulsive need of finding someone to blame when something being not in their favor has happened. The person being the easiest one to blame falls prey to this desperate need.
Don't get me wrong, I absolutely do not endorse causing fear (or manipulating people into selling at a loss for one's own profit / manipulating people in general, if that's what the things that have happened can be called), especially when you're in a position involving responsibilities.

But I think it's okay now...
...dear cloakheads, just look at what happened: There were some great news about decent features on the last pages, but almost nobody recognized them because we're all way too much occupied in judging people for things we cannot change anymore.

Brilliantly stated allyouracid (are you just an "acid" supplier rather than someone that drops it too? You seem too sensible for a coke head)

Thank you Smiley

Well, it looks like I just gave prove that people with a rather unconventional understanding of "alternative recreational activities" can also make sense. Wink
The nickname emerged while trying to register somewhere using the (already taken) username "allyourbase", so I came up with the opposite of "base" and chose "allyouracid". So, at least there was no intended correlation with LSD.

Another reason why CLOAK goes down. Instead of waiting on OneMarket just sell for BTC and use the BTC to buy a gift card and buy whatever you want.

That would defeat the purpose of an anonymous market... Anyone remember how SilkRoad drove the price up on Bitcoin? OneMarket.

EDIT* and loling @ 50k like that would be a bad thing. I will buy then too. It's not like there are a billion cloak. 4.5 million is a very limiting number and with the distribution being what it already is and volume at more than 100 btc on mintpal ALONE per day... I would say that 50k would be a steal and will be happy to buy.

Update:

Cloak devs working hard as usual, there's a lot to get done and we're not stopping for anything.

Block escrow for the time being is the center of that development as it applies to both PoSA and OneMarket.

CloakPal, the SMS mobile wallet from the secondary dev team has been made public at www.cloakpal.com

Questions can be directed to Ludx on #Cloakcoin IRC related to CloakPal.

We've also been working on a graphical and relatively "easy to follow" explanation of how PoSA v2 works, that should become public over the next 24 hours or so.

PDF link will be posted here as soon as it's ready and also on www.cloaktalk.org
