I hope you guys know to use https://bitcoinwisdom.com/markets/mintpal/cloakbtc when trying to gauge the market and its sentiment. Right now on the 1hr chart its clear to anyone who knows how to read charts that takeoff is approaching Just though I'd share. Word, just put all my hashes at the multipool and currently liquidating other coins to increase my Cloak stack Coinigy also has some nice tools (for almost all exchanges). You have to request beta access, but it access usually comes within a couple hours. https://www.coinigy.com.

I am sorry to say that the last recent payout was so terrible that I have to move my rig out for now. I love to support this coin but I need to pay my electricity bill too

Sure, I seem to think that we have found a new floor at 55-57 and are now climbing back up over 70K, I believe that seeing 7500 cloak to 69k and 39000 cloak to 50k also indicates that takeoff is about to happen.

It's fine now. Try again. If it's still giving you issues, log out and log back in. Thanks turns out the problem was quite easy.

Just resynced mine. Everything's running smooth from my end. Yep, I've been having issues - one of which nearly gave me a heart attack - I thought I lost all my coins. Luckily, I had a backup of my wallet (not just copy/paste of the wallet.dat - created via the UI: File -> Backup Wallet). If I hadn't done that, I would have lost everything.

I make backups quite frequently - it's always a good idea. Are you using mac or windows? Seems mine is stuck at 99.88%

My wallet now shows Balance and 'Staked' portions. Bit worried as I do not know how this exactly works and it 'seems' to lock up part of my available coins which is fine if there is a mechanism to 'unstake' or the like? Staked portion seems roughly 33% of total coins I have. Is the stake locked ? Can it be configured ? Can total balance eg balance & staked be transacted out of the wallet? Anybody know? I did read the 'stake' portion of the whitepaper as per below. No mention of how stakes work as far as I can tell. Stake based mining works great btw. Love the coin. Just a little paranoid...(;-)
As per the whitepaper:
Stake Mining and Anonymization As part of the stake mining process, the elected node will process the special transaction package from its memory pool. The anonymization system is a two-pass process flow. If the elected node is processing Phase 1, it will solve the block and the output will be assigned to an internal address at the node. The node will earn a fee for this service, and then redeem the input by recursing back to the election process, to elect a node for Phase 2. The node then constructs an anonymizing transaction package and broadcasts it to the elected Phase 2 node. Again in the Phase 2 pass the originator and recipient are not recorded, instead the transaction occurs between the Phase 1 and Phase 2 nodes.

As I write this the proportion has change to nearly half staked vs balance. Is this a coin age thing ?

go in to settings and click on options and configure the reserve, pretty straightforward from there in the gui, but you really don't need to worry.

Cheers. Mining like a champ. Receipt every minute. The future of mining ! So fkn green! I have to go and burn a tire in the yard to offset against wasted btc electricity (;-) Should really push this point eg the 'green' aspect. The power used to mine btc / scrypt is pretty insane... go in to settings and click on options and configure the reserve, pretty straightforward from there in the gui, but you really don't need to worry.

Yeah a new wallet with Tor and in-wallet trading due today. And the fully decentralised proof of stake anon feature (PoSA) 9 days away (see count down timer in OP). Also a forum vote for next most wanted feature after today's release.
