mpmsvv,
Have you gone to IRC to ask your PoSA questions or are you still here asking other people to do your research for you?

I'll make it simple for you.
1. You send coins.
2. Cloak the magic dragon incinerates the evidence.
3. Manbearpig is destroyed and we are once again, safe.

Cloakcoin already has better features than all other alts combined. TOR, Cloaktrade, Cloaksend 1.0... Dev's have delivered on all their promises to date in my opinion. I've been trading alts since LTC was 40 cents and CLOAK is my fav of the many kinds of coins I invest in.

Stephen thanks for the advice. It's good to see people answer with good education. I will seat and wait for the coming news/developments of this coin. Then I will recognize if I'm wrong or not...

"I will seat and wait for the coming news/developments of this coin. Then I will recognize if I'm wrong or not..."

I think that's smart. Considering 99% of the other coins in this forum cloak seems to be as safe a bet as any.

I am really interested in Cloak, so was following the youtube video.   This was at the root of that transaction in the block explorer from that video:

http://testnet.cloakchain.info/tx/72372cca372039c34180648ea66af550cba31d93a2430d32b36dec750b36aed7#o0

The Previous Output is Generation with no source where this coin is coming from.  (eg. not from a block)

How can we be sure that these coins were actually valid?   eg.  Was the coins generated legitimately or just from thin air?   How can we be sure the integrity of the coin count have not been modified?

eg. Hidden coins that we don't know about.

new account? fudster or genuine?

Edit: his genuine...NOOB that is!!! lol welcome to cloak.

I am really interested in Cloak, so was following the youtube video.   This was at the root of that transaction in the block explorer from that video:

The Previous Output is Generation with no source where this coin is coming from.  (eg. not from a block)

How can we be sure that these coins were actually valid?   eg.  Was the coins generated legitimately or just from thin air?   How can we be sure the integrity of the coin count have not been modified?

eg. Hidden coins that we don't know about.   How can we be sure that in a day, there aren't millions of new coins being manufactured through thin air?

Really? Where did you get that TX from because it is *not* from the yutube video. All block start somewhere and if you follow them all the way to the beginning it will *obviously* come to a generated block.
And Yes the TX you have listed is called a "Generated Block" part of the PoW system... nothing wrong with it....

Code:
Send address:
http://testnet.cloakchain.info/tx/937100e484bdcffc16daa73a92b4f3c3634c08f3b4d203eaec833c8f69d728f0

Receive address:
http://testnet.cloakchain.info/tx/43970a9212640c07f1438b62b73e48c0f2e34b99eb532daa26745af12b192f0a

Now for those of you who are serious about Cloak and have general questions... I will do a session on IRC at 1PM BST ... (20mins from now)

If you keep clicking previous Input, you will get to that.  I was trying to trace it to the generation to see if I can find a link to the sender.   It just ends up at that transaction which the coins came out of thin air.

A normal POW block doesn't look like that.... it will have all the transactions (if there were any) along with the coin generation which amounts to the POW block reward.   That transaction at the root does not have the normal coin generation transaction:

[edited to remove raw tx output... can be seen in original post]
Also, if this was a normal POW block, you will see previous and next block and the merkle root hash.

I will see you on IRC and please do come back and let everyone know that your assumption above is wrong.

EDIT : 1.20pm.. and no-one has turned up... What a suprise! not!

My bad.  After joining the IRC, everything is cleared.  Thanks for the help.   At least I am much more confident of Cloak now and have removed my potential "fud" looking like post.
