I run wallet version 1.9.6.0.
I didn't stake any coins since 2 days although my wallet is open most of the time.
My weight 642
Network weight 317988
Estimated time to stake 8h
since the update to v 1.9.6 I staked small amounts of cloak several times per day.
is there anything wrong? My wallet is synced, and the block number is the same like on the block explorer.

Yeah i have the same problem, whenever i leave cloak-trade alone, the wallet doesnt crash. The fix is in this thread but didnt find it yet. I am sure this will be fixed in the next wallet update |

I would raise my eyebrows at a 100btc dump, cos that's a serious position with serious profit. But if people are getting giggly over 2btc then let the children play. I'd be very surprised if there is not another 1000% in this minimum. Many holders will walk away with 1000 BTC plus from a moderate position by the time its over, and beginners will turn 10 BTC into 100+ quite easily. If the end product is usable and tradable on cloak market then the coin will find value beyond speculation. Value in use, anonymous use - value an average joe can get his head around. Average joe sixpack can use his visa pay-wave and it feels convenient and fast, offering on the surface the same convenience of BTC. It takes an enlightened political/currency/gold bug enthusiast to really understand the profundity of BTC scarcity and proof of work. That is why all this news of big merchants like Dell accepting BTC have not caused a BTC price spike. I don't want to give my precious BTC to dell fuk that. I would rather speculate and hold BTC and pay for a dell with my visa or savings card. And so would most people. The dark market(s) will facilitate the next reigning crypto currency. I bet on it, and my bets are on cloak right now because the devs are offering the chicken, and the egg together!! The end-game will be a rush to crypto and physical assets when there is a global currency melt down. We have a few years before that. This is what BTC will primed for, all the infrastructure being built right now will make a smother transition from failing currencies into BTC. Andreas Antonopolus is a pioneer for this ideology. |

Well for any successful coin the top 100 is always a good place to be...
But I got 100btc from 4 BTC with blackcoin just from holding. And that's easy to say than do. Some days I was wetting my pants and thinking id made the worst decision. Glad I went through it once already now tho.

Current price reflects assumption of working PoSa, I don't think we'll see a meteoric rise on successful launch (that will happen on release of positive news in respected crypto media and then eventually conventional media). The only thing that will hurt price and maybe even kill the coin is a release that doesn't work. Take as much time as you need. Keep expanding beta testing group until you are sure that scale-up will work as well as it currently does with a small number of users. |

I think people will expect a big rise when PoSA is released but of coarse it wont happen unless whales want to play with the market, if PoSA is already in beta testing its pretty 90%+ certain it will be released and working. I doubt there is anyone out there who is super paranoid about PoSA not working and holding out till it is released to buy. This is the exact reason why, block halfings and new feature releases almost always end in a dump, because ppl assume when x happens everyone will buy it, but it turns out everyone else knows what you know and also bought with the assumption that x happening will cause a price rise, by the time x happens everyone has already bought at an inflated price and are holding waiting for a rise and it never comes so the smart people who are still in profit dump and noobies get fuked over.
