Was the exchanges anonymity plan abandoned? "Quote from: TheDagger on May 31, 2014, 06:36:53 PM Tired of so called anonymous coins running away with your bitcoins? Tired of speculating on coins that have nothing behind them but manufactured hype and a new set of graphics? Ready for something a little more real, a little more accountable, a little more...mature? Introducing CLOAKCOIN: The first currency with anonymous feature via exchanges We have seen literally hundreds of new coins coming into existence. A lot of great ideas, a TON of attempts to capture the firestorm of memecoin success, and some terrible ideas. We have also seen some outright scams, by unrepentant greedy people who lack the motivation to even bother trying to innovate at all, and simply choose to prey on the hopes and dreams of the great, vibrant community that the cryptocurrency phenomenon has brought together. CloakCoin is totally different from other alt coins, which are made for Pump n Dumps. We are a team of 4 highly experienced developers, currently working on a totally different anonymous feature for CloakCoin; anonymity via exchanges. Main advantage of using exchanges for anonymity: Hundreds more transactions going into an exchange than a node, some of these tx take weeks to come out. This means that it renders statistical analysis (which can uncover so called anonymous transactions) much less effective. Result = stronger anonymity, straight from your CloakCoin wallet." And again you are bringing up old stuff.... the anon through exchange is propably the nice cloaksend.com you and other FUDSTERS are reffering to and its in the wallet already... on the other site PoSA works through the Protocol... so now HTML Site at all. btw whats with ur centralised MasterNodes over there at Bitcoin? Rich get richer by coinmixing and everyone below 1000 DRK gets nothing of the share?.... work on your own coin before fudding other threads I own 0 darkcoin but...whatever. If you wrongly choose to believe I'm a fudder then its your opinion. I don't censor and ban people unlike this thread and the cloakcoin guys running IRC. Another suspicious thing is Devs acting like Putin and always controlling the message by banning IRC people and deleting posts that they deem as "FUD" or "not needed". All centralized decision making and signs of a scam. Not saying it is one but just more signs. This coin is only 1 month old! nothing is old stuff. Is this coin still doing it's original plan or not? Simple question! Why was the ANN changed? Coming from the person who has posted 7 unrelated fud attempts in the same hour: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=299807;sa=showPosts HAS ANYONE ANSWERED MY SIMPLE QUESTION YET? THANK YOU! Instead of posting fud, just answer and I won't have to keep asking. Cloak is not a scam coin

CloakSend 2.0 is anon through an extension of the PoS protocol (PoSA). If you read the OP you wouldn't have to ask this question.

But in the meantime, are we really this childish? lol.

Not really. This post was the first to even try to provide a competent response. Plan 1 anon was abandoned and now we are on to plan 2 anon PoSA which could be big but is only in whitepaper status. WOW. Now I know you are really FUDDING. Stop playing stupid. Cloaksend 1.0 WASN'T abandoned. It was implemented. PoSA isn't whitepaper status. PoSA was closed beta up until recently where it went PUBLIC BETA. PoSA is real deal Holyfield. Stop playing stupid, its getting old. Your questions have been answered. You haven't bothered to read anything. You are clearly a Darkcoin shill. okthxbai

Thanks for visiting this thread, guys! Your support is very appreciated. Be glad that you have a great coin to keep you occupied while DRK has a few months more of delays.

The pattern is the same, like always.
I'm on welfare so I have all the time in the day to post FUD.
Yep. That's why you wouldn't know a real investment if it slapped you across the face.

So easy to spot the FUD by their cries for attention via larger fonts, bold, colors and caps. Nice try guys but there aren't many weak hands remaining. Better get in now before you have to pay even higher cost.

It is only natural people are wanting to know the details as there aren't many, and some people just are not confident in investing with faith only. It would ease a lot of people's minds if you could just answer questions like these: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=713836.0

So how does Cloaksend 1.0 use the exchanges that takes weeks to come out... If this is integrated in Cloaksend 1.0 as you claim. I posted my results from the PoSA beta in one of my posts. If you really know what you are talking about, you would check my PoSA posting and the subsequent results and realize PoSA works, bottom line.. IT IS NOT WHITEPAPER STATUS ANYMORE... Take time to SEARCH the thread before posting garbage.

Hi everybody!
I did my promise, bought all of my BTC that I have: CLOAK.
I saw the coin history from the beginning. I am tired to mine and trade shitcoins with a one week life.
So I bought all of my money Cloak.
My question is, what is the safest place for my coins? I don't want to let them on Bittrex. (after my mtgox losts).
It is a good thing, that I sent to my wallet (on my PC), backup wallet.dat and copy a wallet.dat to an USB drive?
Please help!
Hi Guys! From today I am "all in" in Cloak. (Bought from 4.1 BTC) My only question is: How can I help the Cloak community now?

(10:45:32) x11joe: Hey guys I'm getting some sleep, but just wanted to update that I did a confirmed working test Of connecting to the cloak client via mobile via the browser. This is huge as it allows API access to cloak now for developers as well as the ability to create your own themes for handling cloak, P2P websites that you can share with other members using data from your cloak if you wanted (all protected via IP address & username/password selections). Works (10:45:33) x11joe: AJAX live on browser. This is confirmed WORKING! I'm getting test members to get video later. (10:46:07) b623: congrats (10:46:11) x11joe: This allows for some crazy possibilities and I believe a first possibly for crypto? (10:46:14) smokim87: good job! Wooooooot! http://pastebin.com/iGijBb2m Hello I would to ask something about this that one of the devs have said. Is this actually the "so called" DECENTRALIZED WEB ? Cause this is what I understand of that. I would be glad if one of the devs can explain it more detailed. Thanks
