The grue lurks in the darkest places of the earth. Its favorite diet is adventurers, but its insatiable appetite is tempered by its fear of light. No grue has ever been seen by the light of day, and few have survived its fearsome jaws to tell the tale.

PoSy using webserver https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=602041.msg8257784#msg8257784

VeriCoin thread

Your an idiot, that was cloaksend 1.0 which used exchanges to anon transactions. That was like a month and half ago.

Your even too stupid to read?

By the way, if Bob is trolling in Vericoin why are you associating him to cloak? Hes just a holder and not a a Cloak developer...

Devs delivered on PoSA =).  They keep proving they are a competent and trustworthy dev team.  People who called PoSA fake will have to find something new about cloak to FUD about now =p.

Let's respect other coins and keep our focus the inside and outside of cloak

Since I heard about the rollback I called the coin dead.. Since then it's lost 66% of it's value and is dying daily. So.. No fud... Just cold hard truth!

I'm new to this forum and I wonder how old are these trolls. I expect that you should only register here with at least 18 years.  Roll Eyes

Also I'm not used to see fullquotes all the time. In many boards it's not seen well.

Trolling or not, why are you posting about cloak in other competing coin threads? People have associated your trolling with cloak. You've been attracting trolls and FUD in this thread.

Come on man, the devs asked you not to stir up shit in other threads. Could you listen to them for once?

Windows wallet doesn't work for me. Get error 'The program can't start because LIBEAY32.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem.'

from here: http://www.cloaktalk.org/t/the-latest-wallet-version/79

If LIBEAY32.dll is missing, please download

or wait till tomorrow when the wallet installer will be released and this will be included

I went to slpro website and I get:

'404 not found.'

http://slproweb.com/download/Win32OpenSSL_Light-1_0_1i.exe

Main site working for me: https://slproweb.com/products/Win32OpenSSL.html

Fixed !

Veri sad but true. On the other hand it would have probably killed mintpal if they hadn't done the rollback. Vericoin was a very nice upstart though, yielded high amounts of profit, hope it will be able recover somehow, I just don't see how.

When these guys rolled back I called them dead at 30K and sold the last of my vrc, at the time cloak was around 40-50 if I remember correctly. Firstly, who stands up for a coin whos devs act as if their Ben Bernenke and mess with the sanctity of the blockchain to bail out the big bank called mintpal.

Anyway, As a previous holder of the coin it's my right to let people know how I feel about the coin and if I advise people to hop into another coin it's only because I want them to make some money. And they would have if they listened to me way back at 50K cloak days.

There's nothing wrong about posting your opinion about a coin.

If you want to help people pick the right coins to invest in then create a separate thread or create a site about it. Posting in other coin threads to ditch that coin and buy another competitor coin gives the image that your FUDing.I don't see people thanking you instead they are bashing you and the coin you invested in.

PoSA v1 : Proof of Stake Anonymity

Welcome to the ground floor of a breakthrough anonymous system. In this version we sever the link when sending from person A to person B and therefore there is no solid proof that B received from A. You'll notice in the wallet that there is an extra icon near the minting icon that lights up green when other PoSA nodes are detected. Sometimes a few minutes is needed to find other PoSA broadcasting wallets.

It took no less than 33 builds to get it to this stage, but we're not leaving it there.

Part of the cloak team is already working on a PoSA v2, in which we introduce our "Block Escrow System".

Block Escrow (interestingly an integral part of OneMarket) was drafted in to PoSA to protect senders and receivers from so called "bad actors". What that means is, there is a known risk of a phase 1 node or phase 2 node being a bit naughty and attempting to interrupt the flow of a tx, for self gains or not. It is unlikely that happens but; in our quest for true trustless anon, as laid out on the day we first introduced PoSA we are not ignoring any chances of a "bad actor" disrupting PoSA flow and that concern is now being ruled out entirely.

What we have shown with PoSA v1 is real anonymity and when block escrow is built in, it'll make PoSA the strongest anon system to date (as far as we can tell).

Not only will block escrow make PoSA 100% trustless, we'll be able to provide users with more control over anon sends, to raise or lower the amount of nodes and splits etc but also to remove certain fees that will make a PoSA tx blend into the blockchain even further.

The hard work is completed for PoSA with increased PoSA node stability, various node broadcast checkpoints in place and loads of other tweaks over previous versions in order to get PoSA flow working correctly.

So to recap: In PoSA v1 you now have a working anon right here to play with and test, Cloak team will deliver PoSA v2 in the very near future along with continuous developments of OneMarket and other projects.

Extra command for .conf (optional):

posa=0 Turn posa off, default is on.

Anyone having trouble loading up an old wallet.dat on 1.9.7.33 is advised to make a new one and send some coins over to it.

To send PoSA there is a an Anonymize PoSA check box, after sending once it will stay checked. For normal tx it's recommended to deselect this as using PoSA incurs greater fees for the sender.

Windows 1.9.7.33

https://mega.co.nz/#!FdFBwCDT!l98LjYaVzEABWohecbaL906GUf-HyVWYzgW_Vi7x408

Linux 1.9.7.33

https://mega.co.nz/#!xNVm0bxA!uQ69298Cz48cd81SIiqSuaEvwEH28W09hjYv8hoty3o

OSX / Mac 1.9.7.33

https://mega.co.nz/#!VY1EwaJL!Bnu8oKm5z4Hb4KCQAde_YeWFjDxJ44L-RbodaVmrHeI

The time is approaching when we have to introduce a new tx fee structure for Cloak. As the price of 1 cloak rises the fees are getting more expensive. We'll time the lowering of fees (in which a fork will be needed), with the launch of PoSA v2.

PoSA has been a closed source build, to protect it from cloning but when PoSA v2 launches expect a full audit from cryptographer/s or code analyst/s with the aim of adding an extra level of "trust and authenticity" in our work.

HoldTheLine WAY off topic, deal with the user via pm. This thread has all been positive, people do not come here to read long post which are not related to a cloak development and frankly they do not care. Everyone enjoying constructive posts. This has nothing to do with Cloak.
If you have a issue with a bct user deal with them personally, show some maturity mate Smiley Edit your post and keep it clean.  Think

+1 I was wondering where the topic of CLOAK went(?)! I come here for knowledge and guidance, guys and gals. Pissing contests should be held on the school playground (at the very least, in another forum).

Pump on rumor and dump hard on new, this is part where you dumps crockcoin or will leave holding old men panties! There is no use for this crap coin in mainstream.

Your trolling isn't really doing anything except waste your time and bandwidth. Instead of trolling here why don't you look for ways to improve vericoin instead of waiting for someone else to do it.
