Well, I missed a lot in the last week.  Anyway, whats done is done.  Moving on.  I am trying to sync using the new client and I am stuck on block 45057 of 45058 as well.

I just manually set to connect only to those peers who are running version 0.0.5 of the client.  Blockchain is downloading a bit more slowly, I will report back on my results.  Thinking maybe too many users still running the 0.0.4 version?  I don't know.

Now of course we COULD continue using version 0.0.4 and deny the NUD team their 550k.  Someone just needs to step up to take over development full time or pay for funding development.  No takers?  I thought so.

Yeah, it still sticks at 45057.  I'll leave it open for a few hours and see what happens.

It seems that we have a bug with the Qt version which is weird since sanity checks have been passed on the source and the linux daemon seems to work flawlessly.

We aren't currently mining so I am surprised that some would suggest that we would purposely cause the whole ordeal for a few extra blocks 

I will try to compile a deterministic gitian build and see if the issue persists...

You could try to compile from source yourself, it seems to be build specific problem for some reason.

This is what is needed to get added to coinmarketcap, according to Gliss:

Can someone fix it? It is ridiculous that NUD is not on coinmarketcap, this is THE tool for traders.

I've tried to sync with both win and linux and always
end up getting stuck at various places around 35000.
This is even with nud.fi as the sole connection. If you
know good nodes, please post them.

The point is that the dev team should immediately provide a working client.
Now nobody can sync with the main net successfully, even bittrex.

Sadly to see the problem was not resolved in two days.

Generally it should be resolved in half an hour, so the only reason is that the dev team is not proficient enough as a crypto coin developer,
He tried in many ways but still don't know how to deal with this case.
