Yes, staking works:

That sucks. On the other hand the more staking that takes place, the more valuable the coin becomes. 30m circulation is worth more than 50m circulation. Ill rather give up staked coins in return for using up as many as possible POW blocks by POS blocks.

Any speculation on the price for this coin?
Given time for multipool and acceptance at Mintpal / Bittrex?

I think we have seen bottom of the price on C-CEX and very reluctant sellers or dumpers.

Can we go above five figure sats? How does this coin compare to other coins in terms of quantitiy and POS?

Cheers for insights

Loving this coin more than OPEC and Mammoth now.

This coin has a great specs; no IPO, no premine, low supply but is lacking appeal, branding; I would start with changing name to GEMS.
I know all you StarCraft fans would not like that but name is very important in marketing and if this coin ever want to treated seriously and not only used in games then this has to be done.
After PoW ends, based on the OP we should be listed on Bittrex. If that happens, then its a good start towards 5 digit price.

gems is redundant, i remember at least two coins using it, minerals is good enough imho it is even something that remind you about mining, like gold, how this can be bad
Ill chime in on this one , I like the name Minerals. I can say I'm mining minerals,,,kinda sound natural doesn't it? Smiley  and for the StarCraft community its a hit... so lets leave well enough alone. Soon we will see MIN at the top of Buttrex oh I mean Bittrex lol

I hope when the price starts to climb C-CEX will see some good trading going on and give them a shot in the arm, they have stepped up to the plate and handled most of our coins since mining began. I'm going to try to keep as much there and trade there if the price follows close to the bigger exchanges. They deserve it. I am a little nervous right now with all my eggs in 1 basket however  Undecided I think it would be wise to keep equal amounts between the pool and C-CEX. I have a ton on their exchange! please take good care of our coins CEX Smiley

i have a feeling this coin will rise beyond 1k easily, when the pow end, or just around that time, bittrex is a good springboard

A good order to be listed in is bittrex first, poloniex second, and mintpal third

Why not Craptsy?

It would be great if any of those, could have it right now to inspect the code and decide if they will add it when PoW ends.

I think so to maybe higher.....

Aside from mining from day 1 I think I'm going to buy up some as well, I did both with purecoin and came out smelling like a rose Smiley which usually isn't the case! lol

EDIT: Right now I am seeing some respectable buyers on C-CEX, over the next 2 days I expect that to pick up steam from investors. Wish I had bought last night  Angry

As I understand, the total number of coins after the end of POW will be less than 30 million, about 26-27 million due to the POS activation.

It seems about right. POS kicked in at block 14400 and it seems that on average every other block is POS block.
