Could some expert explain this please

Height   Age   Transactions   Amount Sent   Difficulty
14583   18 minutes   1   40 START   210.57007305
14582   20 minutes   2   282.59136358 START   125.88888555
14581   21 minutes   1   40 START   67.53438719
14580   21 minutes   2   280 START   64.80167789
14579   21 minutes   1   40 START   57.84380721
14578   21 minutes   1   40 START   44.24047128
14577   21 minutes   1   40 START   35.78466441
14576   21 minutes   1   40 START   29.10266707
14575   21 minutes   1   40 START   23.60183053
14574   21 minutes   1   40 START   19.58664458

If each block mined is worth 40 start why are some blocks worth 282?

Tell us about the developers of the coin, who are these people, what is their specialty and what projects they have successfully implemented?

if mining problems will not be solved in the near future, waiting for the collapse of the coin. Someone with very large hashrates gets almost all the coins and making mining unprofitable for others.

Confidence in the words of the MK and his team undermined, the current situation is only getting worse. Price after yesterday's conference continues to fall.

>Someone with very large hashrates gets almost all the coins and making mining unprofitable for others.

that's life! LOL

there guys are getting plenty of block - I mined here all day long yesterday

https://startcoinpool.com/index.php?page=statistics&action=blocks

the only problem in this pool is that is does not appear to be able to handle a single large miner - I have one that's 85MH and it kept getting kicked off, but my smaller miners worked fine all day long.

a suggestion - before you join any pool take a look and see how many blocks they've found in the last hour and the last 24 hours. If they're batting 0 in the last hours and have only found a few in the last 24 hours don't waste your time. If you're the only person in the pool and you're a small miner - don't waste your time.

find a pool that is finding blocks!

their estimates ARE ONLY VALID IF THEY'VE FOUND BLOCKS. In addition don't base your earning estimates on the current payout in coins/mh - you have to take a look at the current round to see how efficient that round is. If the current round is at 300% then the current estimate is three times what you'd normally get. Take a close look at the stats and familiarize yourself with the details. It will save you a ton of wasted time. Nothing worse than to mine for an hour in a pool and seeing no transactions.

however with the price drop of START it's not a good idea to mine start today - I'd mine 888 (Octocoin) or Hobonickels

https://fusionhash.com/octocoin/index.php?page=statistics&action=pool
or
http://hbn.cryptotroll.com/index.php?page=statistics&action=pool

1 mh will get you almost $1/day on either of these coins right now.

there's a sketchy future to this coin with the huge premine anyway.

Do not you think that it is very strange? no one normal pool. many people buy startcoin at 0.001-0.002. price falls because there are no conditions for growth, developers can not do anything and do not want to do with artificially increased difficulty, someone sells a huge amount of coins and simply pumping money from us.

jjj0923 I think you are missing the point. I would not say 2 blocks an hour is good, the problem is that the blockchain keeps getting stuck so that small miners will not find many blocks. When all is ok was finding 10+ an hour but it is to sporadic due to the issues with the block chain. As I type it has been stuck again for an hour. I know 'Startcoinproject' is on here but is ignoring any posts. when the chain is stuck you cannot even move coins from a wallet to an exchange, how can StartJoin ues this coin.

do yourself a favor - switch to Octocoin then... it's paying well and has experienced s steady rise...

a 50% premine is some cause for concern (here) i.e....take the money and run

The trouble with that as I see it is that there is not enough demand for the coins generated so your figure will not stack up, or am I missing something :-)

2 variants. Developers or one more students who are not professionals, or either it's all done to take away money.

We're currently experiencing some difficulties with the StartCOIN block chain getting stuck after periods of extremely high hashrate. This appears to be when multipools, and users with a large number of Scrypt ASICs, are mining the coin and then moving away, leaving the difficulty too high for regular miners to find blocks. We are working on an updated wallet with automatic checkpointing and a new proof-of-work algorithm in an effort to resolve this problem, all of which will be released next week, alongside an updated mining pool, capable of handling larger hashrates. For now, your transactions will not be lost, they might merely take longer than usual to be confirmed.

you should fork and include Digishield to protect yourselves in the future. It's not perfect but it's helped Nautilus coin a lot.

maybe it's why startpool kept kicking off my 85 MH unit yesterday
