 #2001

1                   Crypti          Ͼ
0.001            Cyptino        Ȼ
0.000001       Crypton       Ͽ
0.00000001   Cryptoshi     ₡

So an item on the shelf that is Ȼ10 (Cyptino) isn't marked Ͽ10,000 (Crypton) or 1,000,000 (Cryptoshi) or Ͼ0.01 (Crypti)

It just helps take the decimal out of things and we already do this in the metrics system. It just may be time to bring it over to currency.

I dont know we need these symbols. the more symbols, the confused it is.

there are only a sat ,and mBTC in the crypto world.

Well there really is this
0.00000001   satoshi
0.000001      μBTC (microbitcoin)
0.001           mBTC (millibitcoin)

It's just 1 BTC isn't worth $10,000 yet so no one uses μBTC a lot yet

And just seeing how you typed "sat" to save time if Cryptoshi has a symbol like cents and dollars do. One symbol cuts out even having to type "sat" or the abbreviation for Cryptoshi... Just throwing out thoughts

everyone (who was at school) knows, what μBTC and mBTC means, if you know what BTC means. There is your metric system.

No way for those signs.
Imagine, you know Cryptsy and you maybe saw somewhere, that the sign is Ͼ (what I find kind of nice) but you didn't see the other symbols before.
I tell you something of 100 Ͽ. You would 100% think i am talking of 100 Ͼ. You don't think, there could be 2 such similar symbols...
If I tell you of 100 μϾ a blind one sees, that its not the same...

And you have to set up nearly a new language with your confusing cryptino-something

Very strong point's bc we are talking about ppl who many be new to crypto and adding too much could be confusing... I really just compiled all the thoughts of the day in to one post...  μϾ100 may be good enough same with mϾ100 or Ͼ100μ...
maybe just a symbol for each  Crypti Ͼ and  Cryptoshi ₡  But there again may be confusing.

Ͼ100m
Ͼ100μ
Ͼ100₡

or

mϾ100
μϾ100
₡Ͼ100

or

100 mϾ
100 μϾ
100 ₡Ͼ

edit: Something I wanted to add but have forgotten we are talking about units that probably won't be used right away... I mean I hope they are!!  with Ͼ100 million to start with... Ͼ1=$100 (Ͼ0.01=$1) would be when a coffee needs to be displayed in 30mϾ = $3

Also I'm sure by this point the wallet will display your balance in these small units with symbols. So that when looking at your balance and the price of the item on the shelf its easier to reference. This is why it's important to set this up early and have the system in place in the wallet.

Will you donate the domain for free? or for 10 BTC?

i can sell my bter acc with 5.23 crypti for 100 btc

you want 20x return Smiley Smiley ?
How much do u want? Smiley

Ok well just using the IPO numbers 1 BTC = Ͼ113,000 then Ͼ1= 885sat (0.00000885)

Then a 20x increase would make Ͼ1= 17k sat (which is not to crazy)

Not to mention with 5.23 CRSALE = about Ͼ590,990 buying that many on an exchange would I'm guessing take many sell orders and the price would raise quickly with each sell order... getting a large sum of them for a set price may be a bargain...

Today:
Bter>750 BTC
Maxmint=45.9 BTC

Total > 795.9 BTC

There is already more enough than 750 BTC.

What happens with the surplus?

is it possible to overcome this number of 750 BTC?

1. Yes more then enough (waiting list only)
2. Waiting list fulfilled in the order added to the list... only when someone of the 750 BTC refunds out of the IPO
3. No the cap is 750 BTC

I might suggest that you contact BTER and let them know that there is a market for the CRSHARES and "They are missing out on commissions".  That will bait the hook.

I wouldn't sell my BTER account. If I were to sell my stake, I would request BTC in an escrow like http://cosign.co.in/ and once I got my distribution release the coins to the buyer and he would release the escrow.

That said, I'm not selling my stake. I'm a long term speculator, not a short term day trader. Also, I have a very small stake anyway.

Vc = dv/dt

Two things here:

First
"Price is what you pay. Value is what you get." - Warren Buffett

Second:
That formula makes almost no sense to me.
Not sure "Value" can be "change in value" over "change in time" .
Totel Price isnt either change in price over change in time.

Here an example:
According to your formula:
1 day without any change in value ( delatv = 0  and deltha t = 1 day (or 86400s) )
V = 0/ 86400  so total value would be 0. Guess that's not the case.

edit: I'm sorry: you define Vc as overall change. However not sure either what this should tell us.

I already know it makes no sense as it stands. My hope is that one of the serious minds will make a working formula from the wreckage Grin
Edit: If Vc = 'change in value' and uses BTC as units for value, that makes more sense provided dv becomes dp (change in price using units of satoshis).

It seems this thread is full of funny guys.

Nope. I'd prefer if the stakes stay untradable. Especially given there is no way to trade the stakes in Maxmint's escrow.

If anyone is going to buy someone's Bter account make sure to ask escrow to check when CRSALE has been bought. Otherwise you can easily buy investment over 750 BTC and you'll be refunded on August 10.
