The ticker should begin with X
We should follow the ISO 4217 currency code standard.
Currency codes are composed of a country's two-character Internet country code plus a third character denoting the currency unit. For example, the Canadian Dollar code (CAD) is made up of Canada's Internet code ("CA") plus a currency designator ("D").
If a currency is not sponsored by a government or country in specific, it is preceded with an "X". If Crypt is ever to be added to the ISO 4217 currency code list, this will happen as X... like the gold: XAU, bitcon XBT, Monero XMR..
So I think we should choose a Xsomething ticker from the first day.
XCI XCY XPT XCR

Several of our team members really liked XCR (I think Bitseed initially proposed it) but it never caught on here.

One other option for a ticker would be CRPT...if you pronounce the "T" as "Tee", the symbol sounds out crypti.
Thats pretty cool!! Yes it is I believe CRPT was on the other poll we originally ran and had very few votes. The tickers copied over to the vote that we are using now here on the main thread were the top results from the previous voting if I am not mistaken. Nope, was my suggestion and never added to the poll. But I could care less what the ticker is. Yeah it got 3 votes take a look https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=679779.0;viewResultsHaha, I didn't see it and voted for a different one. Lol

XϾX BTW, the Ͼ is called "Lunate Sigma" XϾX looks cool!! just if it has to be displayed like XCX then, not sure how many ppl would relate it to Crypti, Here I had to do it even though the X is in the middle... ϾXI But if Bitcoin has BTC and XBT (IOS 4217).. Why can't we add the IOS 4217 for Crypti as a side thing?

CRY anyone?
Yes, I like CRY. Sure... I know what it spells. But, it is the first 3 letters of the name of the coin, and makes perfect sense to use.

DEVS, I really love all your effort towards pleasing the community (trade CRSALE), including myself. However, please focus on a clean launch, since a clean launch will determine the succes of CRYPTI.

ϾXX that could certainly work, but what about the need for an X first? XϾX BTW, the Ͼ is called "Lunate Sigma" That does it - if Ͼ is called a Lunate Sigma we have to use it. Both CXX and XCX looks great. the XX can represent encrypted characters, so the C gets all the attention. SEX would be the perfect ticker, and CX is pretty close. My first vote is for XCX as it can get more eye attraction and hopefully will be followed by interest. The negative part about the XX is that it can be perceived also as cancellation attribute if not within context, XCX is somewhat better the CXX in that manner. The dotted lunate sigma can be great as a symbol, but lets keep it simple (as possible) for the ticker itself
