Guys, Bter has shown in the past that they will not run away with the money! The 750 BTC from the IPO are safe!


If they close down, some other escrow will receive the money and Crypti will look for another exchange!

They lost 50million NXT and paid the hacker 100 BTC. Probably not from their own money but from our money. Just like a normal bank they have a small percentage 'own' money compared to 'lend' money. Probably even less then a normal bank. What's going on now is a proper bankrun. Everybody tried to withdraw their BTC and will do when it's possible again. Now BTER can't pay everyone back because they lack own funds and will go bankrupt. Or do you think they've got thousands of BTC 'owned'. 

I know exactly how things work. Infact they paid 110BTC to the hacker. The also have a coldstorage of BTC with enough funds.

Well I certainly hope so because they hijacked my BTC. But I'm not to positive about this. Easy way out is to go bankrupt. Paying everybody from their own money and being left with a worthless (trustless) exchange doesn't sound to good either. Who will prosecute them if they say bye bye? Nobody...

Should have been the way to go. But now the BTER fuckers paid the hacker 100+ BTC in a complete panick mode and stopped all withdrawals from user (= no trust anymore). They made a complete shit of it while they just needed to accept the NXT loss...

It's totally our fault and we are trying our best to cover all the loss.
However 50m nxt is huge for us, we cannot afford it at the moment.

Correct. I converted all my XCR to BTC about an hour and half ago and withdrew the resulting BTC to a secure external wallet. However, BTER indicates that the withdrawal is still 'processing' which means at this point that withdrawals have been frozen. I feel so bad for the Crypti devs, investors, traders and all you guys. I am in the same boat. Hope it works out for all of us. Big love.

If the situation turns out well you get screwed as you have undersold your crypti and cannot get back in.
