Update, Bter claims "Your request (8737) has been solved.":

My Balance suggests otherwise:

Am I missing something here? Have I missed a step? What more do I need to do to move forward? any advice would be much appreciated.

Give me transaction id via PM, and check bter balance/your wallet balance.
If your XCR still on bter, just send it again.

Maybe transaction was lost in fork yesterday.

1. After 12 hours of the update node synchronized. Everything looks good.
The only one node is forged about 18 blocks (7.65 forged - for stats) and the other of about 3.
2. I do not like the current scheme of pale gray.
And do not have enough information content (for example, click on the number block opens detailed information about the time, the transaction list or even just additional columns in the Forged section: time block, forged amount).
But I understand that you have much more tasks. Just want all at once.
3. I remember discussed (possibly external users, not developers) that there are problems with the compilation ed25519 under Windows.
Maybe you have already decided the issue, but if you're interested, while I was writing vanish account generator, found a few projects:
1) https://github.com/floodyberry/ed25519-donna ;
2) https://github.com/nightcracker/ed25519 - this is the project I'm using to generate on Windows,
I get about 8,000 new public keys per second per 4 GHz core (using dll calls).

Yes, you can keep your Crypti on Bter. You don't have to transfer it to Cryptsy. Their names are similar but the coin is completely independent from the exchange. They literally have nothing to do with one another other than Crypti is traded on Cryptsy

How safe/secure is the web wallet? I have issues with boot2docker and will wait for one click install. But in the meantime I would rather not leave my xcr on bter so hence my question.

It's same version that everyone have, and secured by SSL.

1) Thanks for the update.
2a) This will be changed during UX and re-branding work.
2b) The block explorer will provide the additional information.
3) The main problem is the node modules compiler (node-gyp), once we sort this out, we could compile or cross-compile Windows C++ versions.
There are guides, however they all seem to be more like attempts, rather then official / community ones.

Network can receive only one forging request from each IP, so it's not effective to forge with multi accounts from one server.

ah, expected it to be possible if the clients were running on different ports. is it possible if the client are running on the same machine, but on different proxy servers?

The issue will be multiple clients reading/writing to the block chain, indexes etc at the same time.  Unless they specifically wrote the code to handle that (which very few people would do without having that as a requirement in the first place), you could end up with corruption.

Is there an IRC for crypti and importantly, is anyone active on it?

There is an IRC chat "crypti" registered by someone, hence we opened a new one - GreXX will post it's name.

It actually possible to expose a setting allowing to bind Crypti node to a particular IP, allowing to run multiple node per machine that is having multiple IP's.
That said, as the majority of cloud providers usually assign only one public IP to a node, this would be a quite rarely used feature.

Volume is present for trading on Cryptsy, and Crypti no longer visible on bittrex. I take it they decided to remove it for the time being? Will they relist it after the issues are settled?

Remove it from Bittrex? Since when was it ever listed on Bittrex?

Crypti was not listed on Bittrex yet.

I seriously don't understand what the problem is now! I've requested an update twice from bter on a ticket that was opened 4 hours ago and still haven't received one single response as to why I still haven't received my XCR. And its still showing pending on bter account withdraw page! Why!!!!

If the issue still exists, please PM us with the your Bter ID and the target Crypti address you are trying to withdraw to.

We've made some headway with Bter. Here's the latest correspondence I've received from them:

Thanks for your information.
It will reported to our dev to check
If the transaction is pending status, it is Bter's part to process it.
Thanks for your patience. We'll try our best to process it as soon as possible

The transaction is in a pending state. crypti also pm'd me and says you guys are working together with Bter to find out where the XCR is.

thanks,

I actually talked to Boris (crypti) about this already, there is a slight API issue on some very specific cases, and we going to release a hot-fix soon.

For those looking to be more involved, there are several places you can bookmark!

http://Cryptitalk.com - The Official Crypti Foundation Forums

http://www.reddit.com/r/Crypti/ - The Official Sub-Reddit (We need to start seeing more action here)

#CryptiTalk on Freenode (IRC)

I would really like to get people migrating over to the CryptiTalk forum so we can start building the community there. We have already started brainstorming some ideas and I will be active there if you want to discuss some initiatives.

How safe/secure is the web wallet? I have issues with boot2docker and will wait for one click install. But in the meantime I would rather not leave my xcr on bter so hence my question.

I feel like there may be a group of people out there that hold Crypti and may not fully understand the technology behide it... So this post will be to help better understand whats going on with your investment...

Ok I see a lot of ppl asking about sending Crypti to wallets and if the wallet is safe... or I can't open the web wallet are my Crypti gone?

Let us look at Crypti as your not sending them to a wallet... your sending them to an address... the wallet you use is only a way to access them... and the way you prove ownership to that address is with that passphrase...

So you can access (open) the same address on the web wallet, docker in windows, and on a cloud server all at the same time... the wallet is only a tool... the address holds the Crypti...

It might also help to read this Bitcoin Wiki article about the "Brain Wallet", which is essentially what the Crypti web wallet is.

https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Brainwallet

So basically, no matter what node you login to, as long as you use the same pass phrase, and the node is up to date with the right block chain, your funds will always be there.

It is important to remember that with a brain wallet, if your pass phrase is compromised, you're funds can be stolen. This is why we encourage using the second passphrase for transfers.

It is also important to remember that if you forget your pass phrase, no one can help you retrieve your funds. They will be lost. So ensure that you have a way of remembering, but also protecting, your pass phrase.

I can only speak for myself. I know what a brain wallet is and I'm sure some do not so these explanations are very good. But I guess I was more referring to the fact that I'm not running my own node/client and am creating my account on a web wallet which is just a website. How do I know if my created passphrase/account is secure and not being intercepted online somewhere?
