Since Crypti is written in Node.js, it will be a browser wallet.

Where EXACTLY will the XCR be stored that I place in my browser windows wallet?  

In the blockchain which your node will have a copy of, the same copy we all have and keep synced. As long as you remember your password you can login to any node and access your coins. You will just have a local node with an easy windows installer. You could completely burn down your PC and still be able to access your coins using another node for example. Just never forget your password, your nice long complex password for safety.

So just to clarify for all investors:  there is no way to store XCR in cold storage and/or offline?

Its a brain wallet like Nxt. The passphrase you chose is a hash of the private key. So as long as you choose a long pass with completely random characters or words that don't make sense its completely safe unless you reveal it or get a key logger on your computer. Your passphrase IS your account. So pick one that nobody in the world will ever choose and memorize it if you can. That way no army, court or ex wife can ever take your Crypti because the account is in your brain. Maybe by the time Crypti is 100 dollars there will be mind reading technology so be careful.

I forgot to add that a truly random long passphrase (at least 30-100 characters long) is impossible to brute force. But unlike Nxt for the cost of 100 XCR you can add a second password to the account needed for sending funds. So even if you are paranoid that your brain wallet passphrase is guessable when you add a second pass even a short one that makes it impossible period to get brute forced.

All crypto coins are stored in the blockchain. You adjust the blockchain using your private key.

Coins are not stored anywhere. They are just a ledger in the blockchain.

Phase 3 of my escrow agreement has been completed. There has been one complaint but it got resolved so that there are no more open issues. According to the escrow agreement I will release the Bitcoins on the escrow address to the Crypti team later this week.
