Just putting some thoughts out there about NEM....
NEM is a great investment and I see it closing the gap with ethereum.....
Eventually I think more bugs and security issues will surface with ethereum, because ETH code needs a high level of skill and specialisation to do advanced things...a problem NEM doesnt have at all.
NEM is probably the most secure high end blockchain solution there is, and it can create the advanced apps like ethereum without the headache. I think when the headache of ethereum is fully understood, it will help NEM along
NEM also has huge corporate interest in asia - so its going to explode
Im throwing some more money in as we speak

Thanks for sharing! Looks like a lot of new strategic partnerships are going to be made as a result. I wouldn't be surprised if we start hearing about implementations in non Japanese companies soon either. Price started moving almost directly after this was pusblished too. A lot of good stuff is coming and I think the 2-4x price increase that was suggested by the devs may end up being on the safe side.

This price up move is related with XRP breakout...but I really belive in NEM too😉

I use the standalone client running on windows 7 from the beginning with no problems. Now I changed to Windows 10 with latest java installed and get an error: java not found. Any idea?

Maybe you have to tell your Windows 10 the path of your JAVA Folder.

Not yet. The main chain is capped at 5 TPS now. Catapult comes out on the private chain first and then the public one later.

Bitcoin - 3 tps Ripple - 1000 tps Ethereum - 25 tps Paypal - 115 tps VISA and MasterCard handle over 2000 tps combined, and up to as many as 4000 tps on peak days. The current NEM chain is capped at 5 tps The NEM Catapult end-to-end prototype has been independently tested by third parties at over 4000 tps.

Does anyone else have problems with Poloniex ? Transactions to/from are delaying XXX hours Same delay with ticket handling - what is the "hot line" to solve the slowness ?

There's no hotline per se, but you can try chatting with the moderators in the troll box, they're usually quite responsive and can escalate if you're experiencing issues.

With its current price today, it's so tempting to buy more XEM . How are the development here? Catapult? C++ coding?
Its making good progress. Last news we had was transactions were hitting about 1300TPS! C++ could be 2 - 4 times faster than Javascript ( https://attractivechaos.github.io/plb/ ) but maybe in Catapult is other improvements too ?
