First let me say: I really like the NEM project and before I invested some month ago I did a lot of research. I think we are really looking into a bright future with NEM (maybe with better marketing, that could even be brighter), anyway what makes me wonder is the very low volume for a coin ranked on #4 based on market cap.
I am not sure what could be the reason for the everyday low volume and if that is a good or bad sign, personally I would like to see a higher volume, because than prices are more stable and it needs more capital to move the price. Not sure if that is a correct conclusion.
What are you thoughts about the reason for the low volume?
The current price range is not satisfying sellers nor buyers. NEM is currently in holding status as the price is expected to skyrocket pretty soon no one is selling a penny. On the other hand there are a lot of NEMers wishing the price will drop down at least one more time before spiking. Expect the volume to grow by a factor of x10 to x20 whenever NEM price drops or rises by just a factor of 15 to 20%.

It is not late by any mean. NEM will at least triple in value within the coming 4 to 8 weeks.

It's not too late to buy. I personally bought at a price 0.12, - 0.25. on 17 000$. Just now low capitalization Nem, In comparison with the same Ripple which the lives on the news. If Armageddon will not, then I will soon get a big profit. I am sure at 90%.

Low volume is due to no selling pressure due to miners. That is a good point, I did not think about that. But still not the only reason I suppose

thanks!
I have to go back to local harvesting for the exact same reason.

Also, are you using Nano wallet or NCC? There are video tutorials on youtube. Nano. I've watched videos and read what i could. I think i've done everything right. Ive even stopped delegated harvesting and restarted (spend another 6 NEM). Harvesting says ACTIVE and I have quite a lot of XEM that is Vested. I'm not sure what else to do.

there is a super long list of nodes to choose from for Delegated Harvesting. how do i know which one to pick? most of them do not have any free slots.
there is not a way to have Nano wallet choose for me automatically?

Maybe you did everything right, just did not wait long enough for the first harvested block to be found and show up in the wallet? I think my first harvested block took some days to show up. i dont think thats it. i've been delegated for months.
