Price targets are not predictable for crypto currencies. There were so many predictions in the past and almost all were wrong more or less.

The release of Catapult is a major event for NEM ecosystem. So it is very likely that it will influence the price positively. I expect it but I do not predict it.

Price targets are not predictable for crypto currencies. There were so many predictions in the past and almost all were wrong more or less.

The release of Catapult is a major event for NEM ecosystem. So it is very likely that it will influence the price positively. I expect it but I do not predict it.

Ultimately all it is is nice software.

The question is how will this software be capitalised upon and who's going to do it?

It's a coin that is in top volume every-single-fucking-day on Poloniex. It should move more.

I might understand what the other guy is saying, that the price is manipulated, but it's only hitting resistance @ 8k without moving anywhere else. Just bots selling among themselves.

This has become a known fact by now. I don't know anything about Catapult release date. But one thing I know for sure is that NEM DEV team never delayed a promised release. If it will be delayed it would be one or two weeks maybe a month at max. So be sure by the end of August beginning of September catapult will be already released.

In general dropping 30% or even 50% is pretty normal in the crypto world. This shouldn't scare you by any mean. You only lose when you sell low. If you already bought some NEM at a higher price I would advice you to hold on and never sell at a lose cause a rise is coming no question about that. I personally think NEM will rise in a crazy rally in few days. But I might be completely wrong. You should make decisions on your own.

If a rally didn't start within days it will in few weeks. If not, it will in few months. The maximum it will take for the next rise is 6 to 8 months. So you have to ask your self a simple question. Can you be patient enough to hold for 8 months? If yes, so nothing to worry about even if the price drops 80%. Dropping 80% is also very common for BTC. It usually drops 80% in a bear market then bounce back with all time high in 3 to 8 months.

If you need the money sell ASAP. If you don't, hold. Nobody can predict the market. Your XEM will eventually either be worth nothing or a lot. Most of us here are betting the latter but nobody knows the time frame. One thing for sure is it's going to be a bumpy ride so only invest money you can afford to lose and you won't stress as much when the roller-coaster starts.

correct if you needed money you can sell it this time. but if not, just hold your tokens. but i can suggest that even if you needed the money, just only sell the half and hold the other half. or maybe take your capital and hold the profit. do not sell it all if i were you.

OK so you're just pointing to links by some chartists who say that NEW will go higher based on the technical. Far from a sure thing. I'm a big investor, 1mio+ coin and would love to see it higher but I believe only in fundamentals I.e. a change in the story I.e. Catapult. Charting has no statistical validity in my mind.

Right now the NEM technology is better than all other top 10 Coins, even without catapult!
That is a fact!
I am also pissed of about the zero marketing, but just because of that NEM is the most undervalued Coin and every new investor should be happy about that!
You have to be very patient when you are invested in NEM, or you will lose a lot of money.

That is the best indicator that the devs believe in their project and that something big is coming out soon!

Such investors need to invest money in other Cryptocurrency.
