Polo is the worst exchange, you can go to. And i will not delete this post until i get my reimbursement ! You stole from me, and you know it ! They are thieves ! P.S. Well, getting old here But i mean it: don´t do it ! You will get fucked. Inadvertently ! When you thought, you have no asshole, well, now you know Same thing is happening to me. They've been sitting on 2 NEM transfers that the _refuse_ to address for over a month now. WARNING: DO _NOT_ DEPOSIT OR BUY NEM ON POLONIEX. THIS IS NOT A JOKE!https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2687216.0Congrats to longtime NEMbers who believed and continue to believe.
I sold off my half million stake about a year and a half ago. I acquired it for $60, doing some pre-release stake trading back and forth on NXT to reduce the price from the face value... Then I sold it for $600 a few months later, feeling like I was a genius.
NOW IT WOULD BE WORTH NEARLY A MILLION DOLLARS!!!
It's one of the biggest woulda/coulda/shoulda sob stories of my life, next to not getting an MD/PhD.
It doesn't matter that the original dev was something of a con artist -- everybody who kept NEM alive, like KODTycoon or whatever his name was, well, you guys were on the right track. And I was an asshole. And still am.
But I want to give credit where its due and congratulate all you guys who held your stashes. Good work, you've earned it.
Please, post your NEM address here. I want to give you a tip. We leave nobody behind ! And besides, i have to check if my Nano-wallet still works, anyway. Ok, it´s a little embarassing, just send me a PM, and we´ll deal with it. or do i have to force you, You would be stupid, to not take that offer. Unbelievable ! He doesn´t want free money, i think such people don´t deserve "nearly one million dollar" They are just to stupid. Ok, that saves me 50 XEMs. I think you mean "too" stupid. Forum rules say you're not supposed to post addresses, so I'm posting the link to it in the block explorer. https://goo.gl/APbbK6And also my bad, I was only up to 478.6k. PS: I don't check this forum every second of every day anymore. Maybe you can ask for an official tweet about Polo until they fix the problems so NEM users will be aware of the situation? I have used Polo yesterday and today for small transactions and it works normally. Just try out their support, and you will hang dry. Polo is the worst. I would call it a trap ! And believe me, i tried. No answer. Ever. If you continue using Polo, guys, sooner or later you WILL get fucked ! I warned you ! I am using Skype for support. No need to send any tickets. Did they resolve your issue via Skype? What is the name of their Skype contact that you used? I looked on Twitter and their "Support Center" page (what a joke) and can't seem to find it. PS: Nice shirt. I have the same one. I paid for it using NXT.

You don't understand how a block explorer works yet you called me "to" stupid to deserve "nearly one million dollar"? Forget it dude, thanks anyway. Keep your NEM. You're going to need it a lot more than me PS: I re-checked and it actually was the full 500,000. Thanks back ! Can you help me spending my NEM instead ? You seem like a sane person. I exchanged part of it into bitcoin, but now, what do i do ? My spouse is just to (or "too", i´m not an english native) stupid for all that. I need help ! Do i seek the next psychiatrist, or what ?

Alts should grow soon but it's unlikely to ever reach new ath's vs bitcoin again
Alts as a whole/group is very different from individual alts. There's a lot of crap now - obvious scams, no product, etc. The good alts are likely to survive this exuberance and subsequent downturn. The volatility only makes the best tokens stronger.

Can you help me spending my NEM instead ? You seem like a sane person. I exchanged part of it into bitcoin, but now, what do i do ? My spouse is just to (or "too", i´m not an english native) stupid for all that. I need help ! Do i seek the next psychiatrist, or what ? Frankly I don't know what's driving the price so high. Cashing out to bitcoin and then cash seems to be the most sane way to spend it. I checked the original website (nem.io) and they don't offer a list of vendors that accept NEM for anything. I believe its one of the more technologically advanced coin platforms out there, but unless you run a business and plan on paying people using NEM or a token developed on the NEM platform, there's not much to do with it. The last thing I did with NEM is buy about $100 worth of Internet of Coins (IoC) during their ICO.... I think the ICO is legit but after several months its still under development. So pretty much all you can do with it, as far as I know, is buy other coins.... That doesn't mean it won't someday be adopted by merchants or have some other utility. But given the fact that there's several billion of them, I recommend selling them. The price seems way too high, as many other commenters here have been saying. PS: DON'T use Poloniex to cash out your coins. They will likely just sit on them. Courtesy of the Poloniex support staff:

NEM is more than "currency" and it´s designed for more than merely used to buy coffee or something like that and they´ve have multiple times yet to said this. IMO it is more like undervalued than overvalued compared to other top 10 coins like the ripple, cardano and bch. But please sell you coins if you own any.

Well, if you don´t find a good cause or anybody grateful for a tip, I would take it. Eligable? Not sure as I stick to my NEM since the day I bought it in April, but in August I lost 28 ETH + some ICN + some GNT for stupidity

Alts should grow soon but it's unlikely to ever reach new ath's vs bitcoin again
What you are talking about? NEM almost hit new ATH vs. BTC like few days a go, and surely can do it soon. You beat me to it, but guys, be careful here, it WILL consolidate. Nothing ever goes up in a straight line ! When it´s worth it, it will go up, but never in a straight line. I would be very curious to hear more thoughts from the other guys on the straight line comment. I totally agree it is not natural to grow in a straight line. But on the other hand - look, same is happening to Stellar, Ripple, Cardano, this thing TRON. Does it mean that all of them reached the max pump (no organic growth)?

There have been a lot of meetups, conferences which as result raised awareness around NEM blockchain tech. Recent price jump seems more organic price increase than just pumps.
