This is why it's recommended to never send directly from exchange to exchange. If you can't find the transaction in the block exploer then Spectrocoin might not have sent it. Also, Bittrex does not currently support deposits from multisig accounts so if Spectrocoin uses multisig that could also be the problem.

So I was thinking about the wechat integration and reading on the chinese new year and red envelopes, and had an idea.

How hard would it be to either organize a drive or get nemofficial to start a "give nem for your red envelope gift this year" campaign kind of thing?
I would think it wouldn't take much but some tweets, blog posts, forum topics etc. It may help some of those 900 million users decide to give nem instead of traditional cash.
Which would serve 2 purposes: bring more $$ into the nem eco system and 2 more users for every gift, the giver who had to buy, and the receiver who will be watching and studying up on nem to see if their gift will appreciate in value/how to cash it out or spend on wechat things. If they make a few bucks on it it will help with positive press, help spread word of mouth, etc.

It could be framed as something like: Give them the gift of crypto currency etc etc, and it may give the receiver more than was originally sent if it gains in value... or something along those lines.

It would really be useful if there was a nem/cny pair on a major chinese exchange to make it easier on them to buy nem.. say binance or something similar.
What do you guys think? anyone care to float the idea to nem twitter/marketing group?

Guys, I am missing 8000 XEM. I made a withdrawal from Poloniex to my Nem nano Wallet 99 days ago, ticket #472121. Firstly 47 XEM as trial and it worked fine then 8000 XEM to the same wallet and 8000 XEM is gone. Poloniex posted transaction as complete on my deposit and withdrawal page with non-existent txid on NEM blockchain. Submitted ticket right away and updated it many times but nothing from them, Poloniex just keeps ignoring me. I am becoming desperate, really don’t know what to do. Does anybody from NEM community have any influence on Poloniex Support Center. They can’t just take their customers’ money and ignore them like nothing has happened. Any advice – please help.

Either very soon or it'll notch up to another level of insanity. What matters is that your coin can prove actual usefulness and you'll be one of the survivors. There really won't be very many.

Try opening up a brand new ticket. I've had experience with Polo where sometimes a ticket gets lost in the system and no one sees it. It may be that when you start all over with a new ticket the new ticket will be seen and dealt with.

It's very sad to hear this. For a long time I have been trading at Poloniex, but there were no such problems. It does not seem that this is only your problem, it is worthwhile to us all to think about the free trade.

Bittrex for me now on.

To avoid problems with the exchanges and to make life easier I use bestrate.org. No messing with exchanges, you just get the rates and send your money in.

So no problems with Poloniex or (God forgive me) HitBTC support.

Btw, will this coin be there? I'd be glad to see it!

Bittrex for me now on. 

bittrex is more fair concerning the withdraw fees too
