you're wrong (or blatantly lying), NF doesn't want anything from community fund.

I think it's more fund(s) under the control of community members than that one particular fund.

Can you shed some vague light over who controls the most significant funds and how engaged they are with events? Not naming names but I'd be interested to know whether they've taken a total back seat or have remained active.

One of the most surprising things this whole foundation implosion has revealed is how in the dark the different elements seem to be about each other.

This statement is completely correct.

The issue also is a lot of trust was given, and now 99% of that trust is gone.

Just ask one of the devs who have left NEM over the past year/s. Some of them have started their own promising projects.

Why leave NEM at the height of its value for something new and unknown?

Who knows anymore, I know what my vote will be and I'm tired of dealing with this unnecessary drama from NEM foundation.

edit:

Does this vote even matter? Are they just doing it to appease the community like times before and proceed to ignore the community's vote?

Meh who cares anymore. Other more promising projects are rising out of this dumpster fire.

on second thought who cares, nem has turned into a complete s***show

Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

There's a MORON or IDIOT or whatever you call it who created same POI vote pool multiple time. Probably more that 500 same questions about restart stake redemptions.

I hope that you never again get any chance to claim any free stake of any future coins who ever you are.

That kind of attitude is at level 5 year old child who crying why his mom dont allow him to watch television.

Also if anyone here can contact some members who can delete that poi pool votes would be nice.

Whole node is spammed with that amount of questions so sometimes it takes 2 or more minutes to show all voting pools or it freeze wallet.

It took me 10 minutes just to vote.

Thank you

Use unencrypted as i did. As i remember if you send encrypted it does not count as a vote.

Somebody correct me if i am wrong.

You should send an unencrypted message.

You are sending 0 XEM with no message, so there really isn't anything to encrypt. encryption is meant for the message, it doesn't actually hide the tx itself.

Dont know what is wrong with pontifier, but he has his last opportunity to stockpile cheap XEM right now and stop complaining like a spoilt 5 year old child.

Anyway, ive posted the manual voting instructions and will keep bumping this thread with them, its much easier than going through the polls. Smiley

It can be seen from the explorer by pasting the voting address and clicking the addresses that voted.

One thing I did notice on the No vote was multiple votes from one of pontifiers addresses (the one ending in F***):

LABS
http://explorer.nemchina.com/#/s_account?account=NCM6UJOMOMBLC6YY7R3QQXVJGFRUDKISMW7EEPR4

FOUNDATION
http://explorer.nemchina.com/#/s_account?account=NAKN2QZSFQBDJ45TTBH432ZLDDQHD5VV37GYQ5IN

You can do the same with the Yes vote address to see which addresses voted, and view their importance by clicking each individually.  (There may be an easier way, but I know this way works)

Catapult has a few really nice features:
https://nemtech.github.io/concepts/cross-chain-swaps.html
https://nemtech.github.io/concepts/aggregate-transaction.html
https://nemtech.github.io/concepts/account-filter.html
The mosaic filter should help keep out the spam. Cool

Great answer here about Catapult's progress from one of the council members. One of the core developers followed it up by stating public catapult is planned for launch this year.

It was announced a long time ago. The 4 million coin number was announced a long time ago. It is a long term plan and a very smart one. I think The only ones against it are greedy people that want instant gratification so they can dump more nem when it is officialy out and arrives on an exchange. (I don't know what to say)

Yes catapult will be the best thing for NEM.

This will launch NEM into the next generation of crypto coins.

Those who get in now will be kindly rewarded. People will like this new product from NEM team and this will also make NEM much more valuable by the end of this year.

Well, after all the turmoil lately, there are good signs when NEM is slowly rising again. Just 14 percent in the last seven days alone. I am convinced that with the new leadership, NEM will rise even more in the next bull run and make up for the losses since January 2018.

I always believe that gradual, slow upwards movements and growth over time is better than sudden rises.
Such slowly gradual growths are often more sustainable, and less risky for investors.
I am happy for now to see NEM moved up.

NEM is starting to pump

We will see new heights this year thanks to the future launch of Catapult.

CoW release was a huge positive for NEM and this just proves the new foundation has its eyes on the prize.

NEM 2019 will be an amazing time for all of those who bought in or have managed to hold.  Cool
