BITMAIN didn't start shipping from 10th as promised.
New extended shipping promise between 10 and 14 running.
Two days passed after 10th 2 more days left. Pressure mounts.
If 14th is crossed BTC0.75/S3 will effectively be over BTC1.

No pressure... they originally said BETWEEN July 10 - July 20.  Then later they announced it would be around July 14 which is exactly in between the originally stated range.  How is that not meeting their promise?

UPDATE: and of course I didn't bother reading the later posts where suchmoon said the same thing... Smiley

Its mostly part of the post BFL traumatic stress disorder people are suffering from. There is no trust in any form of preordering even if its not technically a preorder, or even if the company itself has had a fairly spotless history.

That and I am just really paranoid sending that much BTC and having to wait 2 weeks for my stuff to ship.

Bitmain always ships, and its fast once the process starts.

I have gone through

 corsair
rosewill
seasonic
antec
evga
fractal design

fast review

the corsair was a 650 or a 750 rm did 1 ant fine price was free I sold it.

rosewill was a 700 watt did 2 gpus for ltc mining fine I sold the entire rig still works

Seasonic  too many to mention all the 760 plat 850 gold 1000 plat and 1200 plat all good.  I still have 2 750/760plats  1 1000 plat and 1 1200 plat the 1200 plat is doing  11 gridseed blades.  the others are waiting for s-3's

the antec a 850 gold ran 1 ant well sold it still runs
next antec a 650 plat ran a 1 gpu ltc miner still have it it is running a pc that is my gear tester pc and my 11 gridseed blade miner. note it powers the pc and a dozen fans well the 1200 watt seasonic does the gridseeds

the evga 1300 love these  I got 2 for 153 each truly good ran 3 s-1's 24/7    for 75 days idle wating for s-3's

I have an evga 750  so so has  split rails so it is a tricky mother fucker.

fractal design 1000 watt plat NO GOOD  had 3 fried 2 .  running 2 s-1s at 805 watts and it is rated for 990 watts on the single rail don't buy them.

the third one works as it runs 1 gpu on my gamer.

my goto is the evga 1300 when it is under 170 usd on a sale.

wow this guy really gone thru these problems haha
really nice btw

i always checking the PSU reviews via google Cheesy
got not much money to test all of them, so i fed on others story Cheesy

the best review out there still for Corsair

all goes back to 11-13 rigs running 22-23  gpu's to mine btc  .

I have had many psu's in and out of my garage.

I am sure they will be shipping these on sat the 12th  not mon the 14th.  but I am a dreamer.

Strange , most of my ants were running on the very same model (2/psu) until I started replacing them with server psus and didn't have problems with them. Maybe the arctic cold kept them alive and healthy Grin

Cool... BFL was pretty quiet.  Bitcrane, another overpriced preorder I gather.  Awaiting an S3 review.  Any news on S4?

Anyone know how loud the S3 is and what kind of heat it puts out? I mean it's only 366 watts at the wall, right? I'm just wondering if those fans are loud or not and it is spits out a lot of heat. Do you need to have air conditioning on or this unit is able to cool itself with its fans? I'm assuming those fans are in a push/pull configuration, just pushing the air through.

And do you think one RM1000 power supply can power 2 of these? I use the Corsair RM1000 on my KNC and it has been a very good power supply with plenty of connections.

Now how would we know that?

It's called inside info.

the more things change the more they stay the same back in octocber I needed to spend 21K USD ~1.2 TH to get 1.1 btc per day.
Even with the Antminers awesome low price I would now need 70 Antminers ~35TH to get 1BTC/day. about 31K USD plus PSU's

The manufacturer's have all the cards in their hands. They're the ones with 0% risk and making all the money. All we are doing is sweating over over priced hardware picking up scraps up bitcoin hoping to even break even. I've learned buying mining hardware (unless you go enterprise) is a waste of resources these days. While we all massively grow our carbon footprint into the sky why not we all take a strike on buying hardware and force manufacture's to lower prices? If we actually all worked together and could do something like that we would happy mining people.

i have an entire fleet of rm1000's powering my antfarm colony without a single problem. they are great power supplies will run two ants oced... who would know the details of the S3 that hasn't shipped yet ?? i think if is comparable to the S1 that it will be able to withstand heat. we had people running entire farms of S1's in warehouses that were not well cooled. however heat kills electronics. it would be 'best practice' to run these in air conditioning. i keep my antfarm colony well cooled in a 70 - 72 degree datacenter. my S1's are ranging from 39 degrees to 45 degrees overclocked. however, many datacenters will run temps at around 76 degrees (which i think is really about saving money).

I have a few RM1000's myself and they are great power supplies. I thought maybe bitmain would answer the question about the noise. Anyway, after a few days of figuring some numbers out, Neptune's hitting the blockchain and then all those SP30's running each at 6TH/s soon any hardware I buy now has little reward. Possibility of ROI, maybe, will take much longer but overall profit before you start losing money will be so little maybe I'll buy a nice dinner for the better half. And before you take out your revolver and start shooting, these are my opinions. I've noticed A LOT of people are very touchy and sensitive and respond back with venom if you happen to disagree with their way of thinking. Anger management people, anger management.

If it was as easy as that... take a $2/ghs miner, pick the right assumptions to prove a point. I could pick something else and prove that I'll make a million. But that's not how it works, is it?

I love those. Ordered one recently and it came with a 24-pin jump-start plug, I guess they cater to miners now  Grin

I`m pretty sure they will happen, but I reckon it will be a month or so until they look into it as the S3`s are selling like crazy.

Hi,

Packaged separately, one invoice for one shipping address.
If you order two units of S3, one package for one unit, but two units share one invoice.
Under current exchange rate, declared value for two S3 in the invoice is lower than $1000.

I have many serperate orders to avoid just such a problem.

Do you mean that each order will have its own invoice and shipping information?

Or if all orders are to the same address that the shipping will be combined, because that would be a problem for customers where import duties apply. To goods over $1000

while you think 16% is a good number for diff,  the diff trend over the last 200 days   is 18%  the prior 200 days to that is 24%.

those 400 days roughly capture the asic growth period.    if you believe the power wall is being reached the next 200 days will result in less  rate.

24% >>>> 18% >>>>>>       13.5% for the next 200 days   is possible.

BTW  the next jump is coming in about 12 hours it looks to be 3.25 %

Use 5%   and see what you get for profits.  Use 10 % and see what you get for profits.
