My mama said
You can't hurry love
No, you'll just have to wait
She said love don't come easy
But it's a game of give and take
You can't hurry love
No, you'll just have to wait
Just trust in a good time
No matter how long it takes  Roll Eyes

But on another note, I'd like to extend my appreciation to everyone for helping make Nexus what it is, don't forget: By the People, for the People. To me, Nexus isn't just about profit, it's about freeing ourselves from a system designed to keep us enslaved, the more everyone works together, the more chances we have at this Freedom.

Cooperation, not Competition
We Are Nexus

Sure, all fine. I love the idea of Niro, you are very dedicated and seem (I have near to zero coding skills) to know what you are doing.

But, however, Niro is very dependent on your work. The thing with Vanilla is, that they are very active in communicating with the community, which of course is the advantage of managing the coin full-time.

And yes, it is not only about money, but people who tell me they don't care about the price (even long-term) are simply lying. That may be different for you, because it is your project, but for all the others here it is definitely an investment somehow.

So, what can the community do? If we want to spread the word, what do we want to spread?
What is the clear and simple idea of Niro, in short, understandable catch-phrases. I bought a few Niro (former CoinShield) quite a time ago, but it is not 100% clear to me, what the direction and the idea of the coin is. I understand the POS3 aka. nPos technology and that is superior to the existing solutions, however, the market didn't take notice till now, which is not because of the hype of other coins, but because only a few know about Niro and don't really know how it works (and what is the USP). There has to be a promoter or so. I read that TradesAce (quite well known altcoin/bitcoin and forex trader on twitter) did put out a few messages regarding Niro a while ago. Is someone in contact with him?
And again, this is not about creating a short-term pump. But Niro is still a "currency", and only makes sense if there is financial interest.

As no one seems to care:

Is there a roadmap ? Possibility of more active communication? What happens next?

Everything goes really really slow with this coin but does get done. Be patient.

In coordination with Viz and KryptoKash, there is also some PR and advertising planned to start in the beginning of September.  I don't want to let the cat out of the bag yet, but it will be posted here as soon as it happens.

I am using the Beta-Pool for cpu mining....what is the payout schedule? Are they automatic at a certain number or do I need to initiate a payout to the address I am mining to?

Nevermind LOL it must be every few hours...just had a transaction come through.  Wink

Need to update the block explorer to display properly Coinstake transactions since Nexus 2.0, this is why some blocks will not allow you to see the first transaction. I'll post here when the update is complete. While I'm at it if anyone wants some new features on nexusniro.com please do not hesitate to ask me Smiley

Thinking I'm going to add a tab for Trust Keys, showing all active trust keys and their interest rates and holdings, along with rich list on block explorer and address lookup... anything else?

Thank You,
Viz.

Alright for wallets next update will include 21 day trust key expiration, up to 5% interest for established trust key, min trust interval of 10, and wallet unlock button. Loading will speed up when I integrate with LLL as current overhead is from loading the block index using berkleeDB, where my Lower Level Library contains a much faster and more efficient database. Eventually when I get light wallets done, load time should be close to instant, same with syncing Wink

For pools instant payouts will be disabled when I develop the proper infrastructure for the front end. Until then you can try viz pool which has less connections so therefore lower payout threshold.

What problems are you experiencing with the new AMD SkMiner ?

Thank You,
Viz.

There is a working build with static links however it has some other issue that causes random crashes, but only after nPos became active. Also fwiw the newer build has same speed as v1.2 (at least for 280x)

Thank You,

Update can't come soon enough.  Took rig apart last night to clean the fans, etc. Niro wallet on the rig.  Finished the clean up and re-assembled with no issues, which is good, restarted the miner and went to bed happy.  Whilst at work today, suddenly remembered that I had forgotten to re-start Niro wallet.  Friend called round when I got home, just got to rig, launched wallet to see trust key expired.  Cry

Was up to nearly %1 interest, %85 trust, 300k in wallet......feels like the last months staking has been wasted.....feels like I have rolled a spliff, gone to the toilet and dropped said spliff down the pan whilst taking a piss Shocked

When is the next pump? Think I might need a little dump Undecided  I understand the security nPos brings but us miners/stakers need to be rewarded better, hopefully next update will address this.  The poxy amount of coins i have received from staking 300k for the last month is not much of an incentive to start again from scratch considering the wallet is using CPU power and I'm not GPU mining Niro at the mo.  I was happy to let the wallet stake for the last month knowing I would get a higher interest rate in the future, all that has been wasted cause I forgot to re-start wallet, shit happens in life, we cant all be at our PC all the time, 24 hour trust key expiration is too short! Perhaps I should explore other options, get a Pi and stick all my staking alt coins on it, at least if I mess up again the cost of wasted electric will be less.
