Please see Need capitalization activation, and if someone like Josh Garza stole the code and released as their own [highly likely] it would be counter. Publicity is not based around the open source, as about 99% of traders have no idea what it would mean, so to appeal to 1% for publicity is truly inane as one couldn't possibly get publicity in such a small sample size, publicity is based around promotion, which is what Krypto Kash is doing.
When you make a good product, it sells itself. We are here to change the way everyone sees crypto, we are a long haul, a slow grind, as that's truly what makes a real world currency, not a pump dump coin which bases their publicity from open source because they alter it very little.
Capitalization activation is the required market capitalization for Coin Shield to use recyclers. There's a few more things I can't say just yet as I want it to be a surprise, but you can know that the first 11 features I built are the base - the beginning to the long list of features I will be releasing in Coin Shield over time.
This is what it takes to make something real, and applicable to the Real World.
Thank You, Viz.
Note: Unfortunately with so many scams, I would rather not feel "complimented" when other people use my source for pump and dump schemes to scam new users who may not understand it fully. It will come in time, I want to wait until I get the LLL integration, as there is still a lot of code I'm replacing with my own.
Bittrex has the source and it will remain undisclosed for the time being during the biggest stages of development. Merx has a very positive comment toward his peer review of the totally reconstructed from scratch source code, trying to find it now.

good question Videlicet has kept the source-code private while the core is still in development of some critical features. i am under the impression that the source-code was going to be released with the 1.0.3 wallet alongside the whitepaper. back in March but has now been pushed to an undisclosed date. the reason for waiting to release the source-code is to ensure that Videlicet is recognized for his hard work... getting CoinShield on more exchanges would be the good way to get CoinShield more publicity, but without a public source code, there's really no way for an anonymous developer to be recognized for their innovations one way for Videlicet and KryptoKash to take this further without releasing source code would be to launch their company CoinShield Inc and disclose their identities at the moment, anonymous developers and closed-source with no time-line makes this project very hard to follow or share with others... cestballet, bitslapper, and others have been very dedicated to making sure this project has the mining resources and certainly that's a huge thing making sure this project continues moving forward in the public view what do you think sigwo?

You can find Daemon binaries on coinshield.io. To the open source inquisition, here is my prior statement regarding its current status: Yes the source release must be timely, and it is really of no benefit as of now, as we already supply willing exchanges with the code base for them to complete their reviews, Earlz reviewed my code before Bittrex added it: Hello,
I've reviewed the (closed-source) code for this wallet. The source has been radically restructured which makes my traditional review format basically impossible. However, skimming over the code it appears to be of fairly good quality (except for the compiler warnings) and I've not found anything that looked exploitable or malicious. Note that because of the amount of radical changes, I can't promise anything, but I've looked it over and thought it looks good and secure with no obvious issues.
Note to 1.0.3: We are releasing this update with the incorporation of the Tech company, public disclosure of identities including pictures and business address, rebrand with public release of white paper. These pieces have to coordinate together as we lay the foundation for the new developments that have evolved with the maturing of the concepts and technology that create this economy. We are working to move into the real world as a legitimate currency not plagued with images of illegal activity and ponzi schemes, but a transparent useable currency that produces value in many industries besides Crypto. Note to 2.0.0: My plan is to have the proper visibility by the time I get Core 0.2.0.0 built, which will include LLL integration [created by me] which will allow us a more efficient protocol, database, serialization, hashing, and code base. Also to come is complete rewrite of the Qt from scratch to solve many issues with its speed and efficiency. These productions will be coming from the Tech company, in which I hope by this time our visibility is strong enough for me to release 0.2.0.0 as open source. Thank You,Viz.

I haven't forgotten. Dev takes a while and there are always bugs and sometimes unforeseen issues. I was hopeful to have a testable version ready tonight but it's getting close to 12 am and I have work in the morning. I will keep everyone updated on the progress.

Is it possible to get the CoinShield folder zipped and available for download, so a newcomer doesn't need to download from peers? I got stuck on a block and had to delete my databases (probably corrupted when my computer crashed) but it takes 2 days to download again

Fractional rewards, determined by the reserve amount which is what regulates the minting to a precise mathematical design. When the reserves are above 20 minutes supply, reward is worth 3 minute decayed amount. When reserves are above 4 minutes supply they are worth 2.5 minute decayed amount. When below 2.5 minute supply, reward is based on time it took to create the block which can range from 0.3 - 46 CSD. Reserves have a decayed amount deposited every minute in which miners use to create new mint ensuring that the distribution is mapped to precise exponential decay curves: This ensures precisely released mint, no hidden inflation, and a transparent currency. Current Supply rates viewable on coinshield.io platform: Minute 48.08741 CSD Hour 2,885.164 CSD Day 69,198.73 CSD Week 482,416.7 CSD Month 1,902,394 CSD Year 19,943,773 CSD Each mining channel runs on their own reserve system which means they each get exactly 50% of the initial distribution spanning over 10 years. This is how we were able to have a fair launch for the GPU channel 1 month after the CPU channel launch. Thank You,Viz.
