I'm just testing problably the final release, ready for public beta testing. Viz will give you more informations about this. IRC private message from Videlicet : Perfect If all continues to go well I can release the testnet and make announcement on thread to get more users on testnet, then release full main net binary by end of week We are Nexus

Nexus 2.0: Introducing Nexus Proof of StakeNexus 2.0 is done, the only thing left we have to do is run a testnet for a few days to a week to ensure that everything remains stable. Once this testnet is complete, I will release a main net binary with a time lock activation for the nPoS channel and other time-dependent updates. This release contains fully functional nPoS: Following will briefly describe nPoSA] Coinstake Transaction Marked with Fibonacci Byte SeriesB] Coinstake Transaction cannot be produced independent of a block. This prevents the common issue in Proof of Stake with network forking and syncing issues related to Staking, as in with Nexus, Stake blocks will always be produced on the main chain.C] Interest Rate Calculations using ln(x) function for Variable Interest:This shows that our variable interest payments are modeled from this function, and capped at 3% maximum after 1 year, while following this interest rate curve:As I'm sure you'll notice 3.14 x 10^7, this is ~ the number of seconds in one year [Using the 13:20 Time Frequency], in which the interest rate will be 0.03 or 3%.D] Interest Calculations beyond our lovely Variable ln function are calculated per input, not combined together in the total age as in other Proof of Stake implementations. This means that the interest calculations are precise, not estimated fractional numbers that maintain the illusion of being precise. This is to reflect the precision that was constructed in the Reserve system and the decay equations that have kept the minting of the currency exactly on track since launch.E] Block Hash Calculated by nNonce with Energy Efficiency Threshold Described by this equation:This allows staking to find a hash that satisfies your current weight, and prevents anyone from having more computing power from having any advantage as if you try to search to quickly, your blocks will be rejected for not satisfying the energy efficiency threshold.F] Weight is calculated into your target and determined by this Equation:G] Goodbye Stake Modifier. This was in previous versions of Proof of Stake due to its aid in security dealing with the "loose" coinstake transaction that is produced independent of blocks by finding a "kernel" that creates a secondary hash to meet the stake difficulty requirements. Stake searching was done by searching back in time from coinstake/block timestamp to find a "hash" that meets difficulty.
H] Nexus 2.0 introduces with Nexus Proof of Stake a seamless integration with normal block header, without the need for indexing the Proof of Stake blocks and hashes into CBlockIndex. This overcomes the need for stake modifiers as Unified Time prevents blocks from being produced in the future, and Decentralized Checkpoints will not allow a block to be created not descendant of last checkpoint, so the extra computational overhead associated with these "random" security measure have been overcome by properly integrating proof of stake structures into the block, rather than as only a loose transaction to be included in a block.
I] Total Coins Staking doesn't just influence how easy it is to find a Proof of Stake hash, it also determines how low your energy threshold is. This means that if you have more Niro up to the "MAX_STAKE_AMOUNT", you can search with up to 4 nNonce / Second which allows energy efficiency, and also regulation in the block production. The Required Energy Threshold is modeled from this Equation:
Nexus Proof of Stake is 100% unique and new, as I coded it all from scratch due to the fact that I couldn't in good conscience release a Proof of Stake system that exhibited as many flaws as the current implementations use. This means that there is no Peercoin, Novacoin, or Blackcoin staking code. This provides a much more secure, energy efficient staking system that will eventually allow mobile phones [Running Lite Nodes] to produce their own stake blocks, or as the transaction type is determined in Nexus Proof of Stake, Interest Payments. Following will list additional features in Nexus 2.0 on top of Nexus Proof of Stake:A] Transactions Require 3 Confirmations.
B] RPC commands available "dumprichlist", "getaddressbalance", "getglobaltransaction"
C] Fast Sync Enhanced [to be even faster]
D] Block Signature using Signature Hash generated from extra fields in block header to seal all block data into the block and signature.
E] Addresses are displayed for Mined and Interest Transactions rather than previously displayed (n/a).If you would like to help on this testnet which would require you to run the binaries, mine a bit, get some Stake Blocks, and report to me any crashes / connection issues, or anything you find wrong [which means debug.log files everyone ] please send me a PM and I will provide you with a link.To Everyone Else, Thank You for your Patience I'm glad that everyone has allowed me enough time to build this correctly. I hope that when I release the Source Code in the proper time, that other people can contribute to this new Proof of Stake technology, and use it to help enhance the industry as a whole.Thank You,Viz.Edit: It has been suggested to reflect this technology with a better name. So far suggested Enhanced Proof of Stake [ePoS], or Advanced Proof of Stake [aPoS]. Any other suggestions?
Update: I have gone with Nexus Proof of Stake for the name of our staking system, or as an acronym: nPoS This has been updated in this post to reflect the name change

I'm testing the new wallet as well. Try sending some coins from one of your testnet wallet to another one and see if you encounter any problems.

Set your reserve balance, "reservebalance=x". This will keep that many coins from staking that you set as reserve balance. I'll add a command line to disable staking as well in full release.
Thank You, Viz.

So far all bugs worked out up to last one dealing with transactions to self and staking blocks. Need to make some adjustments to coinstake transaction and difficulty adjustments as well and we should be good to go.
I'll keep everyone posted.

For all you testers, going to setup new testnet tonight for tuning, all major stability issues now resolved. I'll post here when I release the new bins in which we can move to public testing which will include link here on this thread. Private testing phase complete as I am satisfied with the base, but now we need to get as many users staking and mining on the public testnet so I can make sure the engine is in tune with my selected constants and modifications for block version 4 difficulty adjustments. Thank You,Viz.
