I just timed wallet opening ~10mins for 2.0.2, 2.0.1 was faster but only the first time I opened it, after rebooting machine 2.0.1 had much higher load time also (first time I ran 2.0.1 load time was ~ 3min).

That's a BerkleeDB issue, it boots quicker after it has already booted before. This DB load is faster than the previous, but keep in mind it is loading over 1.5 years worth of history. I'll work on the LLD Sector Database first, then to new indexing, each consecutive step will increase the load speed significantly.

Strong community, active development, nice low price.. what gives? As I can see, the only reason this hasn't been noticed yet is because of marketing and bittrex only coin. Has anyone tried contacting  polo? This coin is unique and deserves some attention. steady slow uptrend in chart, seems others are noticing great price.

I'll compile these suggestions into next full release (or revision 0.2.2.X).

For 2.2.0 Experimental:
I'm going to see about getting an experimental Sector LLD database built tonight (mostly done) and integrated to replace the BlockIndex's in TxDB to improve boot/sync time significantly, then once we can get that solid going to start moving other parts to LLD and then to rewriting the networking code with the LLP for lightning fast syncs and block propagation.

1: User friendliness is already much higher than most other coins particularly when it comes to solo mining, however there is still no gpu pool and the optimized amd miner has yet to be compiled into Binaries. This area has been neglected for some time now despite repeated suggestions that it needs improvement.
2: Wallet speed is much improved with latest release (first load takes time still but after that its a great improvement).
3: Transactions times are good, but looking forward to features like reversible tx and signatures.
4: Stability at least for me has been almost fantastic only 1 issue in 1.5years of running the wallet.
5: Aesthetics, it looks just like every other bitcoin based wallet... It could really do with a face lift to set it apart.

Good feedback, thank you merc. Aesthetics is definitely something that needs much work. Maybe I'll put more time into the Qt before more DB updates which can take quite a bit longer.

Just sent the request to Poloniex, they only let you send 500 characters per request so I just sent the first part, somebody that hasn't filled it yet copy the second part and send it, they allow only a request per person.

It has over 15 innovations and more coming but above all the Multi-threading technology that soon will be added to it will be a game changer as no other crypto is running on multi-thread making it resistant to dust spam attacks as recently happened with Bitcoin making it super slow and completely bottle-necked, Nexus will be immune to this type of attacks because blocks will have their on thread, transactions as well, messaging and so on.


Its one of the most secure blockchains SK-1024 algorithm which is Skein at its maximum security 1024 bits hashing Keccak working at its maximum security as well 1600 bits security, it will have reversible transactions and very little block size in future updates as instead of putting the whole transaction in the block it will just put the hash of the transaction making blocks very small combining that will the multi-threading tech will make block propagations very fast,cloud storage coming as well and finally the second tier "Trust Network", In Nexus the voting system wont be based on how many coins you have or how much mining power you own, as this leaves to centralization, it will be based on how much are you helping the Network by keeping it secure with your nPOS wallet. If we could get NIRO listed on Poloniex, there would be a good opportunity to bring the market capitalization up much higher.

Poloneix exchanges at least 3x the volume of bittrex, that could make a difference.

It would at least give it more exposure which cant be a bad thing. The reason prices remains on average the same is due to arbitraging.
