Bounty Alert: We are offering a 10,000 NXS bounty for a fast, open source GPU Prime Miner. It must be significantly faster than the Nexus Prime CPU Miner. Bounty may increase if the Community contributes as well.
The Bounty for a fast, open source GPU Prime Miner has now been increased to 20,000 NXS! better 10k for AMD 10k for NVIDIA or? They couldn't make a GPU miner for the green team, think anyone will make a prime one? You are welcome to place a bounty for a specific platform if you like. We won't object Wolf already took the bounty and gave a broken miner. Aliman, Please refrain from ignorant replys.. The bounty is still open to be claimed.. Wolf has interested in it but he has yet to create anything worthy of receiving this bounty, as far as im aware. So please dont cause confusion.. Viz paid Wolf to make an upgraded miner for the green team (since the red team got theirs), but that miner never worked. So it's not a baseless assumption. It's been under the radar because no one talks about it. No, he didn't - he paid me to make a miner for AMD, which I did - so yes, it's baseless bullshit. After several personal PM's with other members and talking to Viz myself, Nvidia needed the upgraded miner and you were the person who he mentioned himself as being paid for. Why the hell would AMD even need an update when it already got one? (These talks are close to a year back) Bitsslapper or some dude made a beta Nvidia miner, but that wasn't finding blocks. (Also happened sometime back) I don't think the NExus network can handle the pressure of the new faster harvester... nxs had a hard rally the last days, i think a correction stands in no relation with more mining Fixed supply of mined coins, but the coins marketvalue has risen 1000% since january, so the fixed supply is increasing if you measure in Dollars..

Are there any calculators or anyone knows what could I expect for one 1070? I dont really want to sacrifice a 1070 rig for 48 hours just to estimate the profit since it is doing decent profits elsewhere.

seems that at 200 diff i was getting 1 block every two hours at worst with one rig(500mh), i did a 24 hours test back then, now diff is 11xx, not profitable

I had been saying it since years to implement a GPU pool to this coin, but did anyone listen? It was only time before the difficulty became crazy and unmineable.

We have Community members looking into making a mining pool. Our Community does a lot. Many of them are very proactive instead of complaining. Why are you even bothering to comment? You dumped your Nexus long ago, right? Somewhere around 900 satoshis. And now you aren't mining, right? So quit your Trolling and move along.

A programmer friend of mine wrote this to celebrate Nexus's contributions to finding prime clusters: http://www.nxsprime.com/It's not updated automatically yet, but could be if there is interest. Congratulations to the Nexus team for everything they're accomplishing. I didn't realize Nexus's prime numbers were so big! Are they 1024 bits? I love the fact that the font has to be made SO SMALL just to put it onto the webpage. How can you get a list of these records? I'm sure it's in the block database somehow, but is there a block explorer that shows them? Your programmer friend obviously has a way to retrieve them. Please show the top 1000 records, just because it'd be cool to show Nexus is computing interesting and useful math world record results, not (only) useless hashes like every other coin.

I've released a free update #4 of my optimized Nexus sp-mod miner to the donators (0.05BTC).
More speed and bugfixes for multigpu systems.
The gtx 1070 should do around 144MHASH with -i 47 (140 MHASH with 70%TDP)

Sorry, answering without help here from what I know: Q: Are they 1024 bits A: I don't know, can someone else answer this? Q: Is there a block explorer that shows them A: Don't know, but I don't see them on either http://nexusoft.io/platform/Explorer or http://nxsorbitalscan.com/ . Q: How can you get a list A: Glenn posted a program to slack that he modified to get them. The slack is very active... you should check it out. It really shows the energy of the Nexus community. Q: Show 1000 records A: Wouldn't this be really crowded? If you have an idea for how it might still look good it'd be great. Why is 1000 better than the longest 10?
