today tried to mine ltc after about half-year of rest and took lots of displeasure Do you use ASIC or GPU? Buying a ASIC to mine Litecoin would be one of the biggest wastes of money. You would never get ROI, as there are hordes of ASIC owners right now mining and selling to try and gain back the money they spent on buying the ASIC, contributing to lowering the price. Not to mention the plethora of scrypt mining websites that have closed due to Litecoin's constant, non stop, fall in price.

The main problem with LTC is that it does not have active development and nothing that it can do cannot be done by BTC.

The main problem with LTC is that it does not have active development and nothing that it can do cannot be done by BTC.
Litecoin wasn't created to reinvent the wheel, litecoin developments trails Bitcoin at a distance it isn't intended to do anything that Bitcoin cannot do. If we ever see broad based adoption of Bitcoin, litecoin simply offers choice an alternate familiar currency secured by a different blockchain other uses of Litecoin's blockchain will come along in time but not now and as some gimmick to pander to a section in a forum. Most around here are being manipulated into believing the world and crypto has moved on from tired old Bitcoin and dusty litecoin, missed the last coin with its amazing earth shattering innovation? never mind like waiting for a Bus to Oxford circus give it 5 minutes and another one will be along. Litecoin could use more community why not buy a little and get involved, the alt community is going nowhere while it's split into oblivion behind hundreds of coins it looks as organised as having a mountain of guys in a big boat some rowing in different directions the majority whacking each other over the head with oars.

Ahh, the true words of a desperate Litecoin bagholder. Sorry, but no one is going to turn to a coin that's a copy of Bitcoin, highly insecure compared to Bitcoin, has no development, and no community(Litecoin).

As a strong supporter of Bitcoin, Litecoin & Dogecoin, the amount of division and one way thinking, on all sides, baffles me. I do everything I can to contribute to the economy of all of them, partake in charities, purchase goods/services at every opportunity, mine, and stay active in the community and each of them have their own merits that I can only see as helping with adoption. It seems a lot of people here think that if you're into Litecoin that's all you're into, but a lot of people that have Litecoin or Dogecoin or whatever else have Bitcoin too and are just as into it and believe in the crypto/blockchain technology and only want it to prosper. I don't see the sense in hating on one crypto or another, there are a vocal few in every crypto community that do it and it does absolutely nothing to help your coin, if anything it just hurts it. Unless you have a crystal ball there at home(and if you do, I want proof), give it a rest, would ya?

My thoughts exactly, the rivalry prooves that mankind isn't ready for the evolution crypto brings us... the hate is astonishing...
