Once upon a time the LTC was good a coin, but now 80% of coins in the hands of the money bags from the stock exchange btc-e, they are just waiting for that moment to throw their coins with the price increases. It is enough to carefully read the Russian chat.

Just wait, if Greece will get capital controls the price of BTC and LTC will skyrock as in late 2013.
whta is a "capital controls"? you mean like, if they make a deal with eu, the state will begin to control founds of population more harshly? e. g. bank accounts seizures or something? "Capital controls" are legal prohibitions on sending money out of a country. Back in tha dark ages of the modern age, they were used fairly frequently: for example, the U.K. forbade any U.K. citizen from taking out more than 50 pounds sterling out of the U.K. 'way back when. They're all-but-gone now, but they might be making a comeback due to the Euromess.

Are you talking about the trollbox on btc-e? I wouldnt listen to anything that is said there. Litecoin was a good coin and it still is, the price dropped so what? The same happened to bitcoins and actually theres more people active in the bitcoin community now than it was when the price was around 1k Unless it completely dies people would still use bitcoins and a few altcoins that are somewhat stable

the fact that we made a lot of profit from recent litecoin rises doesn't mean that it is not dead. i am not saying it is or it is not. i just want to point out that a pump is not the sign of life!

Well it is tho, litecoin has no real use in the world, yeah you may be able to buy some stuff somewhere and you may be able to use it for gambling but othet than that? People buy it to profit so the price definitely says a lot.

To a guy who's own market capitulation is greater than the whole of BTC, they are not going to see BTC as having any real use in the world either. It all depends on the perspective of the individual.

Perhaps changing the title to "Litecoin is officially alive" would be more appropriate . In all seriousness, I know a lot of people are buzzing about the price jumping up. But the real value of any crypto currency is the utilization for merchants, not a price flux that makes day traders rich. Good news is that Litecoin still has more merchant usage and acceptance behind Bitcoin (ok ok I know, there is a still a significant distance between the two, but at the same token there is still the same distance between Litecoin and other cryptos in terms of merchant adoption). Now if we can only convince people to use it instead of holding to cash out in brighter days! Of course, thats one of the major hurdles with all of crypto's now, BTC included .

You can say that again. But is it only a pump and dump? We don't know yet but I love ltc again.
