Definitely diversify and no, Litecoin is not dead.  These "dead" threads are hilarious.  What negativity!

They're also useful. To see why, read this post: The Theory of Contrary Opinion.

Using it, you can watch this thread and others like it to see when negativity heats up - and then look at the chart. If it's near the bottom of its range & is going nowhere - not going up, not going down - there's a good chance you'll get a good buy at a good price.

Grin Dead and keep rising!..  Wink

I am very tired of hearing this "X is Dead!" thing... This "things" are future damn it!.. Deal with it!..

99% of altcoin will die. But litecoin will not die soon.

Altcoins can't die easily because people are using them for trading. They go down and up, that's all...

Most altcoins are just produced by scammers. They are not useful at all. After being traded for a short while, the coin will die.

Not so dead like some predicted here in this topic. Still for the right price I would exchange them for BTC.

No merchant will ever step into litecoin. They will leave crypto alltogether.
Let's face it, what's litecoin bringing onto the table?
Nothing right...

Judging from the reddit discussion they are still at it,and will likely be a strong alternative to bitcoin I myself had a few litecoins and working on faucets, and a lot of faucets are being created dedicated for litecoin .Like what one their developers stated "Litecoin represents an alternative currency that is supported by a different set of developers and protected by a different group of miners. "

I agree with this. Scrypt-Minining is somehow dead. Litecoin was still benefiting a lot of his role "silver to Bitcoin gold". But this is bullshit. Litecoin doesn't offer any advanced features like newer Altcoins or allow smart contracts like Ethereum. The time of Litecoin is limited, it will lose further attention and will fall out of the Top 10 within the next 1-2 years. It's just a dino.  Wink

Not quite dead but on the right way!
But there is a lot of hash power around LTC, miners dumping slowly.
Soon if you see hash is going down ..don't hesitate dump.

The reasons is the community hates LTC, for its: lies, false promises, arrogant community and inactive devs.

In crypto, community is another word for bagholder. Bagholders mostly blaming devs for their stupid trades  Tongue

China is not some magical land full of rich idiots with a strong desire to baghold shitcoins.  Where this idea comes from I do not know but it is a meme that needs to die.
