Litecoin's price is more than $290 now and I think it is enough to say that it is a promising coin for the future. It have a really big market value and I think it is a big probability that this amount will increase in the future.

Litecoin was never dead. Total market cap was built in 2017 which helped regain its potential value. It will rise to $500.

lolzz. Litecoin is top ten biggest coin in the market with the price is $240. it is one of the best coins which can replace bitcoin role in payment in the future. let invest in it now.
As you know Litecoin is one of the first altcoin and it’s really a superb and stable coins in cryptomarket .There are many crypto currencies analysis and investors predicting that Litecoin have potential and it may affect bitcoin price a lot. Litecoin is getting mainstream adoption like Bitcoin, I honestly think that litecoin help us a lot, you can invest for short term and long term. Most importantly, litecoin is predicted to significantly rise in 2018. So Litecoin will never die.

Anybody know what was the price of Litecoin when it was first launched a few years back? I am curious as to what happened to the earliest investors of this coin whether they got rich or just keep on holding for years now. Would you hold a coin for years?

The price was zero. There were no investors, just miners.

I don't think litecoin will dead, many people says that litecoin is one if the potential coin that we can get a profit. Maybe we just need a time to wait what really happen to litecoin.

I think it's quite amazing that Litecoin is still on top in terms of marketcap, still seems to be an all time favourite among traders after all these years. Even Dash and Monero have recently dropped out of the top 10, being replaced by tokens that were previously unknown to most people, like Cardano etc.
Don't forget that many people are now also using Litecoin to escape Bitcoin's high fees and slow confirmation times. The future is definitely looking bright for Litecoin.

The principle is a logical conclusion. Litecoin was developed as a fast and "Lite" bitcoin for small transactions. Today, there are many currencies that are hundreds of times faster than Litecoin. Unfortunately, bitcoin and litecoin technologies are outdated. But bitcoin is the ancestor of the crypto-currency, he is a rarity. Therefore, he will always be in great demand, which can not be said about litecoin.

Completely agree with you, mate. Given that people have been using Litecoin for cheaper fees, it has a very bright future. Since Litecoin will always be the silver to Bitcoin's gold, (and it has a tried and tested codebase) it will remain solid in the markets for years to come. Whenever BTC grows, LTC will follow as it grows alongside the king of cryptocurrencies for years to come. Compared to most altcoins in existence, Litecoin is by far one of the most secure cryptocurrencies after Bitcoin. It is one of the oldest in the market and it could continue to gain traction as it adopts the Lightning Network for even greater speeds and cheaper fees. Best of all, users would be able to switch from LTC to BTC or vice versa by making use of Lightning's features. All of this indicates that Litecoin's future is huge and those who are early adopters of the cryptocurrency will benefit greatly from its price increase in the long term. Even if Litecoin has a bigger supply than Bitcoin, it is still limited in supply as there are other altcoins that have huge supplies and less chances of increasing in value in the future. Given the outcomes that BTC has experienced, I'm sure that LTC will reach $1,000 soon. Nevertheless, the future for LTC is full of excitement, as it gains popularity and traction over the course of time. Just my thoughts

I doubt they are just going to roll over and accept their losses. I also know that LTC is accepted by many retailers alongside bitcoin so its not going anywhere. Litecoin is not dead.

Litecoin would be 400-500 usd this year. Because it have good perspective to keep part of total cryptocurrency capitalization, that growth.

With so many coins showing up daily, no wonder everyone is distracted, people tend to forget things that are not in their visual on a daily basis. Probably the news and updates about litecoin aren't very frequent anymore.

Litecoin is now always top 10 in this crypto-world. This coin still has room to grow. Your prediction was dead wrong. Congratulation for selling it and poor of who still keep holding it till now.

At least Charlie Lee has an influence in the crypto market, so the name "Litecoin" is always somewhere around.

The word "dead" get's thrown around in the cryptocurrency world too often. Many coins have risen from the dead within a day or two. Community support keeps a project alive. I don't see Litecoin dying anytime soon. Dead coins are those that have been abandoned by the developer and no one steps up to takeover it.

Officially died? I've read that Litecoin is the fifth largest crypto by market cap with a market valuation of $15.85 billion, behind fourth-place Cardano, with $28 billion.
